Correct sequence. Run chair to bottom limit. Swivle until reading error code E-5. Hold BOTH togle switches in the down position, along with the down button on the remote. Chair will make a noise. Return to normal operating position and aim remote at inferred sensor to test.
Bring the Stairlift to the bottom of the rail (Park position) Swivel the chair seat 90deg now press and hold the paddle chair arm button in the down direction for 5 seconds then let go Now press the Down button on the remote control handset you should hear a bleep noise coming from the stairlift Handset/remote communicating with the stairlift If all is well when you swivel the chair back into its travel position the remote should now operate the stairlift
Reprogram acorn stairlift 130/T700 steps are: Move chair to it's charging location Turn key lock on base to off position (show code E 9) Press and hold the lower obstruction sensor (lower plastic panel on base) Press down direction on remote (momentarily) Release obstruction sensor Turn key to on position Remote should now work correctly
