Bruh, he keeps saying that the Nature makes Shen's Zigzagoon have a higher attack, does he not realize that there is a RANGE on ALL STATS every time you get a 'mon? By Level 20 you should be OKOing anything lvl 8 and below unless you have a garbage roll for your ATTACK Stat, which is obviously the case, since Shen was OKOing everything with a Zigzagoon long before lvl 22 🙄. Nature actually doesn't have nearly as big of an impact when compared to the Base Stats. If you roll garbage for your Stats, then no matter how much you EV train + boosted Nature, you can't make up for that low Stat. Also, why the heck are they using STRENGTH for the end moveset? Use Bodyslam or Slash, literally Slash is better than any of the HMs except Surf, Dive, and Fly. Increased Crit Chance is worth the 10 less Power imo. Also, RETURN is literally found in the Pokemon Fan Club 😂. Which isn't that far out of the way. In Emerald it's in Pacifalog, which you should be hitting anyways to make travel to Rayquaza easier. And honestly, grabbing the Harbor Mail to gain access to the Game Corner is a viable move to me. But I'd use SHOCK WAVE instead of THUNDERBOLT just cause it negates all evasion.

Personally, I like fighting pokemon that have the "Frisk" ability when farming with Pick-up pokemon so they can tell me at least when my lead grabs something. I'm aware they probably don't have the option here but still, always a thought

The game of "make your opponent win at Connect 4" is solved. With perfect play the second player always "wins" (by which I mean forces their opponent to win). Here is the strat: Every time P1 places any piece, P2 always places their next piece directly above the piece P1 just dropped. This forces a horizontal stripe pattern. Since there are an even number of rows P2 will always be able to do this and eventually P1 will have to place four in a row horizontally on the first row.

when i did lvl 100 before first gym run i did nincada so ide have a lvl 100 shedinja for the entire run and had 5 zigs for pick ups and hm slave

lol i've watched this for like 2 hours then i started skipping to see the level 100 payoff and the sweep through the rest of the game, but not only did shen not show the level 100 because he had serebii on screen they didn't do the promised rest of the game.

This is really interesting. There is complex strats at beginning even with RNG. You have fun I did no;t even notice when first hour passed :) Really good race.

Actually you can beat gen 3 with only super effective moves including wild encounters! The very first wildencounter chasing the prof will fled after a time. And now to the rival battle: Just buy enough potions and stall the opposite mon until he kills himself with struggle

Am I the only one who feels like Shen is intentionally giving the wrong information? Like telling Chrism that he should use Zigzagoon as long as possible because of the cry and then immediately evolving his because he knows the atk is just to low. Same with the attacks that he told Chris early on, and then it just happened, that he used different ones. We all know how competitive Shen is in these races and how salty he gets when he is behind or in danger of losing the race.

Seeing the title I assumed it'd be way longer, then I realised Zigzagoon has a 10% chance of pickup getting rarecandy and suddenly it made a lot more sense.

You couldve just used the rare candies earlier to kill with Flail instead of evolving, right

I have a little idea for a race-like category that you might like So, basically, you add a timer and make it so you two have to build a team within that time, after the time's up you will battle each other with that team and whoever wins the battle wins. You can so you'd either be forced to use exactly what you happen to have in your party when the time runs out or maybe you get to scroll through your PC and build one with the Pokemon you already have and you also can't get EXP so you have to reset or wipe if you meet a trainer. In a nutshell, it's a grind for the best Pokemon, moves and levels within a deadline, with the victor being decided by a link battle
