Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair was the best match of the night of WrestleMania 39 Night 1... It's the greatest woman's match of all time as far as I'm concerned, what an amazing match that was, it was one of the most physical women's matches I think I ever seen as well, what a showcase match that ended up being, both ladies should be so proud of that one

If Cody beats Roman in the main event, does that match get 5 stars? I think it does.

I honestly dont really consider the Miz matches, as matches. They were more time filler and stuff. IMO the worst match of the entire of wrestlemania was Cena v Theory. With the best or most enjoyable match being IC Title Triple Gunther Sheamus Mcintyre. Night One grade A-, Night 2 Grade B+

I always take Meltzer’s ratings more like recommendations. Because frankly at the moment I usually don’t have the time to watch all the wrestling that I would like so ratings, reviews etc help me out in that regard. I’m not saying he’s spot on and all that like it’s just his opinion, but so far I haven’t watched a match he rated with 4+ stars where I would disagree and say no that was terrible. Likewise I’ve never watched a match that he gave a bad rating where I was like no that match was awesome. You can argue about matches like HBK vs Taker or Angle vs HBK that they deserved 5 stars but again it’s his opinion and they’re like 0.25 below which really isn’t much. Some simply like it a bit more some simply like it a bit less.

If he honestly thought Brock and Omos was 3 stars then he clearly has lost his way and doesn't understanding good wrestling anymore it's clear as day 😂

I too didn't understand the Fin fin vs Edge match. But that match would've been six stars if they brought back Gay Pride Balor.

I can't listen to Dave Meltzer speak, when I do listen to him, it's a chore for me to get through, Meltzer is even worse than Eric Bischoff in this regard, it takes Dave Meltzer 15 minutes to make a one minute point, no matter what he's talking about, and I'm not the only one to feel that way either

Dave's stars are just opinions and since everyone seems to vehemently disagree with them all the time, I'm not sure why they keep getting brought up. No hate on Meltzer, he's as entitled to his opinion as anyone, and I've discovered a lot of good matches through his ratings. I just don't understand why people lose their minds over them.

Demented Dave giving 5* to the Tag Team match and not Charlotte/Ripley is proof that his takes are full of shit. Guy should stick to fawning over Jôshi wrestling instead.
