The Irish Guy takes a look at what Premier League players he predicted to flop this season, including the likes of Jesse Lingard, Lisandro Martinez and Fabio Vieira. Business enquiries: irishguybusiness@gmail.com
ever since Irish Guy went independent he's become a predictions freak As a Burnley fan, PLEASE predict us top half next season even if we don't deserve it I'm not ready for pain.
Gonna be difficult for Burnley next season as they gonna need to sign quite a few player as many ain't up to the job for the Premier league but ur owner don't have the money to spend or just won't spend it
Lisandro is amazing, the only reason he lost most of those huge goal losses was because overall crap team performance or was paired with the likes of maguire who isn't agile enough. Yes he did lose the Brentford game and other ones where he could be blamed but from watching most of the games i would say only 2 or 3 huge losses was cause of him. That said i believe IMO he was the best signing of 10hag this season.
Bringing the daily mourinho news to the Irish guy Roma pulled out their 3rd win in 3 league games with a 3-0 win at home to udinese. Mourinho wants to win the Europa league and has a 1-0 deficit against feyenoord to watch in 3 days so he did a turnover starting some youngsters like academy lad Bove who scored the first goal. Pelligrini made it 2-0 and Tammy Abraham finally scored a goal after a long drought to make it 3-0 with a great header Roma are 3rd 3 points ahead of ac milan and 5 points ahead of inter. Top 4 looking really close
IrishGuy predicted Chukwuemeka to get only 24 mins on the pitch, but he went on to play 224 mins this season. And because of this prediction the prediction score became 2-4.
Daily Potter news: Frank Lampard has critisised Potter for the lack of fitness of the Chelsea players before the 2nd leg of the Real Madrid clash and claims that he cannot fix the issue. Lampard said 'At the minute, it has been mostly conversations and meetings than training pitch stuff,' he added 'Training pitch stuff was all pretty walkthrough and low level because of the [tiredness] in the legs.' 'It is more about speaking to the players individually. When we do get the chance to work, I think the team needs some physical work. I think that’s important for us because at this level you have to be right on the limit and we are not on the limit right now. I think that can be a capacity thing with the players for whatever reason. It doesn’t matter how we got there but it needs to be addressed now. ' Graham Potter is now no longer wanted by Tottenham as they try to lure Julian Nagelsmann to the North London club.
@@luvadougla to be honest i think that Lampard doesn't want to take responsibiblty for the form of Chelsea and instead blames Potter as a scapegoat for the players being lazy and not being good enough even though most players that joined were only wanted by Todd Boehly
@@DrYellow96 fully agreed, his tactics are still questionable at best and the fact that he cannot even make the most out of players like sterling says more about him than anything else. That team is too stacked to be lacking this much confidence and drive, if they get relegated I won't be surprised honestly
@@luvadougla Trouble is that most players are there for the money for example Mudryk and Sterling, whereas talented players who care about the club and fight for the badge are on the bench and hardly play. Not to mention Todd Boehly's tactic of buying everyone caused the relation between him and Tuchel to sour as Boehly wanted to bring CR7 to stamford bridge when Tuchel opposed the idea and I can imagine similiar circumstances happened with Potter.
He is a very talented player when he isn't injured but alas, injuries has hampered his time in Leeds. I hope that next season he will be fit because he is fun to watch.
even after realising he was wrong about Lisandro Martinez he still found the time to somehow chat sh*t about him lol? Defo has been top 3 CB in the league this season,if not THE best
He is top CB in the league, but seeing his performance in the beginning of the season especially that Brentford game he deserves that, props to him for his performance after that, he's just a beast
To be honest, you could predict either arsenal or city will win the title this season now,, and we would all still say ‘well done to Man Utd for winning the league’
Clavin Ramsey has not been fit at all this season, he had gowing pains when we signed him until around October/November, then got injured again in December and had Surgey which ended his season in Feb
He needs to work on ball retention & get physcial, look at Saka, he is only small but extremely strong & retains the ball so well, if Arteta can get Viera like that he will be unbelievable because he has the talent!
Counting Lenglet as a win is a bit of a cheat - 21 league appearances and 7 Champions League appearances can hardly be called a "flop". TBF as a Wolves fan I'd call Hwang a flop - He's scored 3 goals all season and only two of those were in the League! {Guessing you made these predictions before Costa joined us}.
@@agustincasciero Spurs haven't been "solid" as a team this year and you can't put that on just one player. Heck if anyone was a flop with Spurs this year it was Conte!
They are in desperate need for a top centerback. Langlet just added to the mediocrity they have at the back. He makes Eric Dier look good. Only reason he starts is because all their other options are shit.
The Licha take is iffy. Those were all bad losses but right now Man U is at a place where one player cannot make the whole difference. All our bad losses were team losses, Licha was a part of that team yes, but it wasn't solely his fault. To say he's been a not been a great defender is insane, because Varane played in many of those games, Shaw did too. Both will continue to start every game they're available to, and both will continue to impress, as will Licha. Man U has had this trend of: "When we lose, we lose hard", but it isn't indicative of any one player
Blaming Martinez for every big loss man united have had, is so stupid honestly one of the best signings for the club this year (although is casemiro gets back into form it would be him)
Actually when liverpool scored 7 lissandro msrtinez was shbbed off at half time and they had only scored 1 by then so really martinez was the only thing keeping the defense together
Irish guy redemption arc at prediction is... the same story as mo salah "redemption" against madrid.. it is been 5 years now.. sad but true. Edit: and he did get his redemption before salah topple madrid. This guy is a legend.
next time you do that, place a kitten in front of two bells, one for yes one for no, and then make the kitten hit those, do your predictions and then, when you reat to your predictions, compare yours with the kittens and see who has more. 😁
A chara, your predictions are as entertaining as watching a melee involving Fulham and Manchester United whilst inhaling nitrous oxide. Surreal but marvellous.
Sorry Irish Guy, as a Palace fan I have to play VAR for that Johnstone call - he’s arguably made himself our no.1 with 3 clean sheets in 7 games - NOT a flop (for this season at least) - never stop predicting though 🙏🏻
I would like to add that an 18 year old keeper in Joe Whitworth played in the prem before Johnstone. And Johnstone is only playing because Guaita is hurt... Just to cheer you up even more.
I will never get tired of his comparisons. I reckon if he wanted to be a comedian he could do it. I wet myself over Kal phillips wet monkey sick joke lol
Imagine, that Sinisterra Guy scoring against Liverpool right after this Video releases... He heard that he was called a flop and took that personally... LoL
Vieira is a long term project and a back up to Ødegaard, if Ødegaard ever gets suspended or injured we would have a brilliant back up who is guaranteed to do a good job Vieira is also a similar player to Ødegaard and is left footed
The way the irish guy gets excited over getting a prediction right, it reminds me of when I used to get excited over packing a good player on fifa… about 6 years ago 😂
On Fabio Vieria, I don't think he's been a flop, but I understand why Irish Guy is saying he is, and really in his predictions video he didn't call him a full on flop, just a tough adjustment season maybe with the odd good moment before he comes good in the future, which is pretty much what he had.
Biggest flop of the season has to be Richarlison. Sancho is up there and Anthony as well. Mudryk as well. Son has had a horrendous season also, but he isn't a new signing and I get that.
Calvin Ramsey has been injured practically the entire season, was injured on and off until he suffered a heavy knee injury ruling him out for the season. Hasn’t had a chance to flop, but looks incredibly injury prone
I dunno about injury prone. Wasn't it a lower back stress fracture and then a major knee thing? They don't really suggest proneness, which is generally recurrent muscle injuries and the like. But yeah agreed on the point. Ramsay hasn't been a flop because he hasn't been available
@@racerdeth Im honestly not too sure what injuries he’s been carrying but I’d hope it’s not indicative of future problems. 100% though, not sure where he’s at with his recovery but if he can get a pre season underneath him I’m sure he will get chances, especially during that October-December period
