In this particular performance, she uses perfectly jazz technics: Backspace or phrasing, a slight delay from the beat either just before or after the beat ! Not an easy technic to learn for anybody, since it requires years of learning to adults without being off the tempo to sustain the emotions!!! She answered in an interview that she's never afraid or shy to stand before crowd on stage since ever, that's another amazing characteristic from this 10yo girl. And the final run is a reference for its balance in power, strength, and breath control!!!
She was 10 years old in this performance, and 15 currently. And she still wears no shoes, 9 years after the experience! To add to the story, it is said that Angelina has donated over $1 million to children's charities and environmental causes. This comes from her Norway's Got Talent winnings as well as other revenues from performing.
Bunji! Great reaction, Angelina is not only the greatest singer ever and youngest author in Norway. I read her book and let me tell you her words in it can melt iron! Her grasp on humanity at that tender age is beyond even her vocals! A MUST READ. She also sang before Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, charitable causes to which Angelina has given her talent include the Rainforest Alliance at the American Museum of Natural History in New York and Ein Herz für Kinder in Berlin where she helped raise over 21 Million Euros for children and families in need...She is Heaven sent.

I have been obsessed with her sing the first time I heard her. She is seventeen now and has a recording contract with Republic records. Her first album with Republic will be out soon. I and millions of others can’t wait !
Actually the conversation that Angelina had with the other girl was more in depth than what you stated. They struck up a conversion and friendship, Angelina asked the other girl what she wanted to be when she grew up, and the girl told her she wanted to be a doctor but she doubted that would happen because of her family’s situation, Angelina told her not to give up on her dreams, the other girl asked Angelina the same question and Angelina told her she wanted to be a superstar, and the girl said she would pray for Angelina’s success, this is why once she gave the other girl her favorite shoes that she always keeps that girl in her thoughts, because they cared about each other and wanted to see each other reach their dreams. Very deep for two girls at 6 years old!

Yes, if you want to react to a truly impressive girl and a wonder of our times, there's few that can compete with Angelina... Speaks several languages, plays multiple instruments, has arranged her own songs since she was 7 and experienced orchestra and studio musicians call her (affectionately) "The Boss", have helped raise millions of dollars for charity, has sung for Nobel laureates kings and queens and been on stage in front of over 40 000 people, makes some of her own stage outfits, is genuinely humble and kind to all around her, never get's nervous in front of audiences or cameras, is the soul driving force behind her career and her stated main career objective (since age 6) is to spread love around the world thru music.... so what can one say, other then...impressive.

Thanks for the beautiful reaction, Bunji. This is definitely one of her best covers for me. For her age, for the tranquility with which her faces the audience and for the vocal and emotional power her poured into the song, she is absolutely incredible at only 10 years old. This version was recorded outdoors and during the "Singing on the Border" show held every year on the border between Norway and Sweden in Fredriksten fortress, during the summer and with the at the public with lyrics to encourage them to sing together. I really do like this performance, "flawless" yet there is another indoor performance on TV2 which I like better, even that ending run-up, because the band is better, richer. She is 10 for that one.

The story of her giving her shoes to the orphan girl is very heartwarming. In an interview the week that her book was released she said “ I care very much about children “. 9 years old saying that! When are we adults going to care about children? Angelina Jordan from a very young age wanted to sing at the Nobel Peace Prize concert because she wanted to bring joy and love to the world. How many 5 years old have that dream? Angelina Jordan accomplished that at the age of 8 performing barefoot in Norway in December with the temperature slightly over freezing point. There is another recording of her performing this same song at a later date inside with a full band and it beats this one hands down. There is so much for you to find out about her. She won Norway's Got Talent at 7yrs old (turned 8 during the Show) and the money reward for winning she donated to children's charities. Hi Bunji, She was 10and a half here. The other version is later on in the year still 10 yo but an even better performance. It has a very "brassy" jazz band indoors and televised live on national TV in Norway. She did a TV interview about the book in 2015 at 9 yo.

In the interview before Angelina sung, she said that when she sings she goes into an endless other world that is full of happiness. Angelina said the song's sound was inspired by the Bond films.
