It is possible to swirl out the interior floor of a cup lightly. But you can't get water on it or it will mess it up.

Great question, after the fact I thought it might be important to explain where I got it from. My clay comes from Continental Clay company in Minneapolis. For the most part clay bodies are all formulas and B clay will be similar where ever you buy it. Hope that helps.
