The one thing I've noticed across the reactors is that they either overestimate Mae's ability to plan or underestimate her not wanting to die. Saying she was going to turn herself in was right on the heels of saying taking Kelnacca was impossible and her master would kill her. Calculated that the Jedi would treat her better. Then when he showed up and decided to, you know, kill her. The insight instinct was to run. Accepting being bound by Jekki would have been a death sentence. Then at the end, trying to escape with Sol was the best bet at leaving. It's not deep, but it is understandable.

The new theory about Qimir is that he has something to do with the knights of ren, multiple times during this episode when he faces off against jecki and when he is standing over Osha Kylo Rens theme plays.
1. So far, that has to be the best episode of the show. If it isn't, I don't know what is. 2. Excluding the uber predictable Master reveal (pretty f'in lame imo), this was an episode full of question marks and savagery. I still ain't in love with the storytelling structure and the level of acting on display (excluding Lee Jung-jae and Amandla Stenberg imo), but I think it's a little good. 3 episodes left! 3. What’s up Al. I love how everyone is a filmmaker with this show. So many thing “they ought to have done”. I’ll just say this, filmmaking ain’t easy, particularly on that level. That being said overall it feels like they are trying to stretch a story they maybe could have told in 5 episodes to eight episodes. Sometimes it feels padded. Outside of that I get the Roshomon energy… if you’ve ever seen Citizen Kane, same energy as Kurosawa was greatly influenced by that film as he was making Roshomon. Most folks seem to run into trouble because they want to predict what’s going to happen rather than wait to see what happens. Lots of Monday morning quarterbacks on this one. Overall though I give it a six. Not as bad as Obi Wan but not as good (to me) as Ashoka and clearly no where near Andor. Hey, we wanted more Star Wars, we got more Star Wars, right? Be well brother!🙏🏾✌🏾
@@reactionarytvfans As an episode, I think this was better than any episode of Ahsoka. The Mandalorian wars was the only thing that I think approached it in Ahsoka. That said, I'm waiting until the entire series is over to rate it. Andor had some slow episodes that only became good in retrospect when bingeing.
