Excellent video! I’m not a huge Irish whiskey fan but I do enjoy the Red Breast 21 and 27 enormously! The 27 yo is extremely special. I have many single malt scotch malts I far prefer but this is a treasure! Awesome thoughts! I also love sharing! My husband and I aren’t going through the 27 too fast! It’s really for special occasions at the cost but everyone is different! Love offering it to friends who appreciate high end whisky! Cheers!
Part of the pot still in Redbreast 27 is finished in Ruby Port. Not all of it. That’s why it reads “enhanced” by Ruby Port casks. There’s also bourbon cask and sherry cask finishing in the 27. Redbreast 21 is all Bourbon cask and first fill Oloroso Sherry cask finish.
