Hey Guys, I'm sorry, I was inactive for so long 🙏 Lots of things happened in the past month from IELTS Preparation to College Applications 😫 Moreover, the topic of this video required a lot of analysis and explanation, so took long to script, film and edit 👩💻 Hope it will be helpful for you in your Lester B. Pearson scholarship application process 🎓 Thanks a lot for tuning in 🤗 More videos coming up 😉 Will try my best to maintain consistency in video uploads😁 Thanks Again 😄
I learned that: You are okay with accepting your mistakes and changing your perspective if it's mistaken. You didn't give up despite of the difficult circumstances which makes you an accountable and persistent individual.
Hi Zohair, I love how you inform students in this topic. I would like to help you if I can by sharing my application process for the Pearson scholarship.
hello! your video has been wonderful in going through each of the prompts! I would like to ask you though, can I answer the 800 essay prompt by telling the reader that there has not been one single experience that has shaped me, but multiple instance tied with the same recurring theme? thanks
Hi Simón Rivera Ángel, No, they don't verify them or ask for any supporting document. However, I don't know if they do verify them once you receive a major scholarship. Anyway, I'd suggest you to be as honest as possible to be on the safer side.
I have a question where I have to tell about the leadership roles/ activities I did in the last 2 years of my high school, but as it was all online I dont hv anything to tell. Please tell what to write in it
Hey man these videos have been quite helpful, thanks for all the informative infos you provide. But i got a question: when were you notified that you were waitlisted? Was it earlier than April? If so, is it possible to get accepted or rejected before april?
Thank you so much for your valuable advices, you are a nice man and will surely achieve your goals inchallah. Please do you have any idea if the scholarship essays have changed this year ? Thanks in advance
@@ZohairAnsari thank you sooooo much . I have applied to U of T in the end of November and I do not know when to receive my Join Id. Please do you know when they will return from holidays ?
Hi , after your school nominated you for the scholarship how long did U of T take to send you the link for the application portal? Btw thanks for sharing the insight on your experience!!!!!
Hey bro, did u receive ur international scholar scholarship offer after getting ur response to the Lester B Pearson scholarship? Or did u receive it before
YES definitely. 43 in IB is a marvelous feat. It takes you into the top 1 to 2% of IB students around the world and U of T knows that. Btw, congrats on that score 🥳
@@ZohairAnsari That’s so reassuring thank you so much!!! Your channel has been really inspiring and comforting for me throughout my whole application process to UofT. Good luck with everything going forwards!!
Zohair, may I please have your response to "how will you contribute to the lester pearson community". I too am applying for this scholarship this year.
Hi I am from Bangladesh I need some information. Science, Commerce, Arts are separate from 10th class onwards in Bangladesh. Can I apply for this as a Commerce student? . I don't have extra curriculum activists. Should I participate in any activists in these 2 years? Does this scholarship have any chance without extra curriculum activists?
Hi Zohair bhaiya. During pandemic I wasn't able to focus properly on my studies due to health issues and got 83% in 11th and 85% in 12th. But in 12 My preboard exams reflected 96% and I am expecting 95% plus in boards. I have also started doing co curriculars which I really like. Will I have some chance for U of Toronto. And do U of Toronto requre exams like SAT and Advanced Placement tests.
Hey there, Keep working. I think you're on the right track with regards to your academics. U of T doesn't require SAT or AP Tests, they are optional. Do check your curriculum's requirements on their admission requirements page or by going to your program requirements on U of T's website.
At this point I'm desperate, I've asked and searched everywhere. will the scolarship stay in the years or was this a one time thing? I'm talking about something like five years.
To apply for the Lester B Pearson Scholarship, you'll need to apply to U of T and in order to apply to U of T, you need to prove your English Proficiency and IELTS is one way of doing that, you can take TOEFL if you like.
