You really have to take a moment and admire JD Turner’s perseverance. Nobody gets to bask in the glory of this beautiful day more than him. Anyone that knows him closely or in passing knows that this skatepark was his EVERYTHING.
You see so many people chase their dreams and give up before they get going. It took him and the Reading Skatepark Association 10+ years to bring this AMAZING park to Reading, PA.
It goes to show us that when people give it their all, Reading CAN be on the come up. There are so many great things happening around here lately. What a blessing it was to get to be there to witness this one.
