If you read his full speech, which is chapter 5 and 6 and 7, you will notice that he say that he has come to fulfill the law, and then he goes on to abolish all physical punishment in this world for doing sin ... quite simply by making sin and the law a personal matter between the individual and God and so rejecting that people (who are all sinners) have any kind of authority to judge and punish other people for their sin, because only the perfect sinless Word of God has the authority to do so, which is also why there is no "Sharia" law in Christianity and no earthly "Caliphate" to fight for, because the only kingdom for Christians is in heaven and not on earth.

Hey! Id consider myself a strong Muslim rn. Ik about the Quran roughly, all its controversial famous quotes. Im debating with an atheist friend right now and he told me to check out this channel. It‘s been two years since I wrote it and I have to admit I still struggle with it but now time has „heal most of my wounds“ I started to pray again and go to jummah on fridays. But I have to admit doubts are still there. But in your case, beeing just 18, i think it‘s even more confusing because you still have a lot to experience in life espacially regarding religion. Having healthy debates with athiest can be both good and bad. If you have a strong faith in your religion it will only help you to manifest it more. But in my case it made me research it more and thats where the doubts started. I wish I could help you more but I think you have to go your own way and figure it out for yourself just as I have to do. If something is on your mind all the time, I think it helps most of the time when you write it down or talk to someone about it. So feel free to write everything down that is on your mind maybe you will find Someone who feels the same or has answers to your question. (Well I doubt that will happen on this Channel 😂)

First thing first, When we talk about 'manusmriti' we are talking about a book that has been written in 200 CE (Christian era/common era) another term for Anno Domini. It was roughly 1800 year ago. If we talk about Lord Raam and Lord Krishna, as mentioned in your post, Lord Raam was born on jan/10/5114 BCE, roughly 7134 years ago. Lord Krishna, was born on July/18/3228 BCE, roughly about 5248 years ago. I also have there birth time, but I think it's not required as i had made my point. So enlighten me, how a person born on roughly 5000 to 7000 years ago can claim such a book? When we say that, "there is a religion that allows wife beating (4/34)" "marriage with 4 women (4/3)" Or "man above woman (2/282) Etc. I tried to read the bible from start to finish and couldn't get further than about 100 pages in the old testament. Most boring dumb book I ever read. Haven't tried to read the quran however, which may very well be even worse

That is because it was written by a mentally ill person. People raised on it accept it, but even professional Islamic apologists admit that much of it is incomprehensible. They won't admit the verse in question is nonsense, just that it's incomprehensibility proves it comes from Allah and is above/beyond human understanding. They are then unable to explain why Allah would send a revelation that is to be a guide to all of humankind for all time that humans cannot understand, even in the beautiful sacred new (at the time) language of Arabic. It is repetitious, changes topics from one verse to the next, changes subject/object and verb tense and singular/plural within the same verse. It is tedious, and the Medina verses are unremittingly violent and misogynistic. That's why it is boring. It keeps beating a dead horse on about three topics. But I do like that the great scientist Allah has bees eating nectar from fruits (they don't. even Muslim beekeepers know they collect pollen from flowers.) @@jcoker423 i guess so, as you said many words in quran are borrowed from the syrio-aramic language. and the way the quran is written makes it harder to keep track of it i mean the constant and sudden changes in subject treated that you encounter while reading the quran. and the fact that the quran was punctuated 50 years after being collected makes it easier to commit errors because words have different meaning in the arabic language if u change the punctuation.

So long as it helps people live a good life and they interpret it rationally, then all to the good. But rationally is the key word. The Torah, NT, Koran were written for folks without the benefit of 2k yrs of scientific knowledge of the universe.
