My favorite artwork right now is the clive special illustration rare from paldean fates. I really enjoy how this card summarizes the scarlet and violet games so well into one image. A goal for me at the moment is to complete a full binder of cards for my personal collection. Just something to show my kids someday and hopefully inspire them to join in the hobby that I enjoy so much.
My favorite card art is the Gardevoir & Sylveon Tag Team alt art, the scene is just so peaceful and serene. It's like two of my favorite Pokemon are best friends and are having a picnic! I'm looking to complete my Yuka Morii card binder this year. I'm a few dozen cards short but I believe it's achievable!
My favorite artwork is the bulbasaur from Stellar Crown! Very vibrant organic colors suiting of bulbasaur. Showcases the calm personality of a bulbasaur. I also like how it kinda ties into and contrasts with the charmander and squirtle cards.
I’m going to go out on a whim and say my favourite card art is probably the Miraidon Art Rare (?) idk what actually rarity. Also as a Miraidon player it would be awesome to have, and it’s a cool card from my collector side :), and my goal for this year would probably just be get my school work done so I can graduate 😅
Fav art has to be Leafeon gg35 from CZ! Beautiful artwork, so tranquil....i went heavy on Paldea Evolved, and im so thankful! This year, im going to get back into playing golf and teach my twin boys how to play guitar. 👍
Favourite artwork is extremely tough! Let's go with something a little obscure, growlithe legendary treasures radiant collection! My goal, buy more singles, rip fewer packs. (With your pull luck though, maybe should rip more packs, splash, splash, splash)
Keep an eye out for Milotic! All custom Emoji’s can be accessed with channel memberships: ru-vid.com/show-UCDFqWkHUKWDMm590DopfCvgjoin Best of luck with the Wild Force Booster Box!
Favorite art has to be the OG "Moonbreon" from Neo Discovery, I hope one day I can buy one! Goal for this year is to complete a half marathon that I've been training for.
My current favorite card is the eevee from twilight masquerade, a goal is to complete the entire TWM set, keep up the great videos Phillip. 10K SOOOON!!!
The illustration rares really capture the essence of a lot of the Pokemon. Like the Sandygast on the vacated playground at sunset. Those are my favorite.
My favorite pokemon card art is Aerodactyl from fossil, whenever I see the card it brings me back to when I opened it in front of our LGS with my Dad and lil bro. Nostalgia win 😊
My big chase from Paldea evolved is the chien pao, heracross and iono. Honestly it’s so hard to choose your favorite card from SV era. I will say my few favorites from 151 are the Charizard, zapdos and Blastoise SIR and from other sets is the iron crown and raging bolt SIRs from temporal forces. Holy crap man!!!! Congratz on the carp! I had to edit this because I thought the box was done.
My favorite card art is probably the pikachu 227/s-p promo card, i love how it pays homage to ukiyo-e woodblock art! its gorgeous and i hope to add it to my collection one day. my goal for this year is to get the rest of the Yu Nagaba cards! i have half of them right now
I absolutely love the temporal forces sir ragging bolt! And my goal for the next few months is slowly add to my sealed collection and continue to make some content.
There just something about the art on the Galarian gallery Mewtwo Vstar that's both dynamic and beautiful. A full battle all on one card? Love it. And a bit goal for me this year is to make the shift from collector to vendor and start attending cardshows and make a business for myself. Slowly but surely!
Awesome pull! Congrats on the karp! I think my favorite artwork from s.v. Is the zapdos from 151 that card is too awesome. And my current goals are to support my family through my normal job which is a small construction company that I own and run and then earn a little extra cash for the family for vacations from flipping graded pokemon cards. Will be getting back my 1st submission from PSA and my 1st submission from Beckett back fairly soon
My favourite card of all time is actually the 1st edition Team Rocket Oddish… it was the first card my older brother gifted me and I still have it in my first binder. It just has so much meaning to me that even the artwork just seems immaculate to my eyes! An actual goal of mine for this year is to finish my medical exams within September, so that I can start studying a bit more in detail the Pokémon card world :) Btw always love your videos, I really appreciate your work and your analysis!!
Favorite artwork right now....IR slowpoke from base SV. Them giving slowpoke some love is nice to see. My goal this year/next is to save up a downpayment for a house. Have to thank my parents for letting me move in for the time being. Love the vids man!
So, the Mew ex IR promo has completely captured my heart. It’s gotten me back into the TCG (in the middle of a no spend month no less 🤦🏻♀️) My goal is to get it in the UPC next month once I meet my priority financial goals, and then I’m going to get some 151. I’m happy to be back in a hobby that’s more about the journey than the goal 💖
My favourite card right now is actually the Espeon V from Evolving Skies, I love the art style, the details on the book covers and the colour scheme. I’ve recently rediscovered my love for the hobby and thinking about it as an investment has added a new layer of interest for me. My goal is to bulk out my personal collection with some of my favourite cards and to start an investment portfolio of booster boxes. P.S. Shout out to the holo back Trade Please! Promo card, such a cool card and I’ve got one on the way!
My favorite card is the Reshiram and Zekrom Gx secret rare from cosmic eclipse. Card is just absolutely stunning. For goals, I just started getting into collecting pokemon cards, so I want to make sure I continue doing so while maintaining self control and indulging in the hobby responsibly
Hi mate have to say too many stunning cards for me but my new favourite at the moment is the Eevee Rare from Twilight Masquerade. Aim this year is to finally get loading some videos of my own on the channel and take the first step and stop talking about it!
My fave art would definitely have to be Tapu KoKo SIR from Paradox Rift, it has a real synth wave vibe. My goal right now is to really build a set of cards I can give to my kids when they get a little older, cards to play with as well as collect. Love the content!
What a hit, I’m personally still chasing the magikarp and the sleepy Raichu. I’ve ripped so many boxes and still have not got close to one. Being just IR, I’m shocked that I’ve hit more SIRs and zero of those 2 combined. Maybe one of these days I will come across them.
My fav artwork would have to be the Giratina alt art from Lost Origin. Love the darkness & chaos to it. Close second would be Blastoise SAR from 151. the big fella descending into the deep blue looking all menacing and war ready hits different.
Hard to pick a favorite artwork. Might be Gastly illustration rare from Temporal. Love the way they bring in the evolution line through the city, kind of reminds me of the movie Spirited Away. My main goal is to focus on buying singles and not thinking I can pull my chases from packs😅
my fav card art recently has been charizard V SWSH BSP, its not that crazy a card but its cute. I used to collect pokemon cards a while back but i stopped after a few years. I noticed that I was to focused on how much the cards were worth and ended up chasing the money in the cards rather then what I think looked cool and were nice artworks. I have started collecting again since februari and my goal is to collect the cards I like and think are beautifull rather than collecting the most valluable cards.
My fav art is the bubble mew from paldean fates! Defiantly one of a kind! Hopefully I can achieve opening up a successful card shop soon, currently have a small booth and working hard to get where I want to be!
My current favorite artwork is the Special illustration rare Gardevoir Ex from paldean fates, it's giving me "lady of the lake" vibe from the Arthurian legend. Current goal of the year is to land a job with a stable income since doing freelance isn't working out anymore for me.
My Favorite art work is the Espeon VMAX (Roof Kitty) from Fusion Strike. My goal Is to Get into better shape. I am About 270 pounds, and would like to get down around 240 By the end of the year. One more goal that I have is to Be a better person ever single year that I was the year before. the year before. I know this contest is over, but I still wanted to share 😊
Great video man. My favourite artwork is the SIR Charizard from Obsidian Flames. I have just got back into collecting and the card is what made me come back to the hobby. My goal is to collect as many different special illustration rares of the original 151 pokemon as I can. Love your content dude, keep it coming
Favourite card is the Giratina VStar from Crown Zenith. A goal that I am trying to achieve is collecting all four of the gallarian gallery secret rares from crown zenith.
As a first-time subscriber, I'm really enjoying your content. I'm new to collecting, but I'm loving the new sets, especially the Temporal Forces Eevee alt art. I can't believe all this beautiful artwork is now available to own!
My favorite art has to be the Roaring Moon SIR from paradox rift. The art really brings out the ancient theme of the set and a goal i have for collecting this year is to pull my first sir. I recently just got back into collecting Pokémon cards and your videos have genuinely helped me in a lot of ways financially.
My favorite card artwork is probably the Espeon V alt-art from Evolving Skies. I really love the books flying around the room and the hand-drawn feel of the artwork. My current goal is to finally master Lost Origin and Silver Tempest sets. I also have a crazy reach goal of trying to master Evolving Skies, but that's probably not in the cards.
Favourite art at the moment is the Miriam special illustration. I feel like it is such a unique take on supporter card. My goal for this year is to lock in a plan for at least one family outing or activity for each month as as my job has required me to take on more responsibility I found at the end of a work week it was too easy to fall into to habit of just wanting to chill out around home rather than get out and do something different.
Hey Philips collectibles always love the insights and gotta say my fav art work is Brilliant Stars Charizard vs Venussaur. Such a beautiful and detailed card and SUPER UNDERRATED. Never really hear anyone talk about this card and I definitely believe it’s worth more. Something I’m hoping to achieve is just more financial stability to have more money to Catching Them All (growing my collection!) Hope I win the giveaway, I’m pretty stoked for this set! 😇
First I want to say that i am new to This Pokemon world and collecting Pokemon cards. Your videos have helped me alot to start up. My fav art work is gardevoir ex from paldean fates. The goal I have set for my self This year is to try being more Independent as I am Young man Trying to make a Living.
Favorite recent art is definitely Ninetales from Obs Flames. I just bought 8 copies and 2 PSA 10s because I think it’s such a sleeper 😬 love your emphasis on the art & artists, not to mention the surprising quality of information presented in a sea of open mouth thumbnail hype tubers. Happy to subscribe! Edit: oh, my goal is to finish my master sets of 1st edition, shadowless, unlimited, and Japanese of Base, Jungle, Fossil, Rocket. Currently 8 cards away (including the 1st Ed Zard…oop)
Good choice! Appreciate you tuning in and thanks. Yeah it’s funny when I started the channel I made some open mouths….then I realised you don’t need to do that for a thumbnail haha.
@@phillips.collectibles it’s definitely falling out of favor except for with, well an audience you wouldn’t want to “target market” anyways :p It’s my belief/hope is that those that stick around in the hobby will do so because they keep finding depth, substance, and more novelty to explore than just the latest set release- this is something I take into consideration for long term investments as well. But also that is something that basic poketubers can’t provide the way OGs / real ones can as it goes way beyond only “watch me open and overreact to opening the latest product on the shelf at Target” (often times with zero other commentary). So boring. You’re providing context, historical data, predictions, moments of genuine appreciation for art, insight from expertise, so much- I mean the editing is a bit over the top for me but I get it that’s the fun stuff and definitely bridges that gap between hype and substance for the core audience. Keep doin what you’re doing by branching out far and in depth and I’ll love watching this channel grow!
I love the Gardevoir SIR from Paldea Fates because the artwork is simply stunning and captures Gardevoir's elegance perfectly. Completing SV 151 Japan master set is my current goal and it will be the holy grail of my collection.
my current favorite art is the fuecoco from paldea evolved! i got the skeldirge sir and wondered what the rest of the family looked like. when i realized the family had a story of when fuecoco was a baby, to crocalor helping w groceries into skeledirge helping carry the groceries i immediately fell in love.
A personal favorite although sadly I do not have it is the arceus from crown zenith. It is absolutely God-Like and radiant. Now if we are talking about the scarlet and violet era so far its probably the magikarp from paldea evolved it shouldve been a SIR.
I think 151 Blastoise where he is floating in the water is my new favorite card would love to hit that at some point. Love the videos thanks for your wisdom and fun content!
My favorite artwork is the Poltchagiest Illustration rare from twilight masquerade. The little boy in the card looks eerily like my son. As for my goals as a new collector I just want to keep learning about healthy and effective Pokemon collecting
My favorite art is the Poliwhirl illustration rare from the 151 set. I absolutely adore poliwhirl and this is a no brainer pick for me. A goal i have set myself for collecting is getting a PSA 10 version of this card.
No way you caught the Magikarp!! That’s some good karma for you, so stoked! Favorite artwork would have to be the squirtle IR from 151, my goals this year would be trying to master the 151 set and continue to set limits on spending with the help of your advise 😅
Big fan of the raging bolt artwork. Something just really hits when you see the card. Hoping to grow my Full-Art collection a bit this year. Thanks for the nice video.
I personally love the Art rare marill from paldea evolved. It's completely underrated but looks amazing. I'm looking forward this year to winter ending and finally being able to take my kayak out fishing and try smash those fitness goals in doing so.
My favorite artwork is the moonbreon because umbreon is my favorite pokemon and that one stands out. A goal I want to set this year is better my health!
Favorite artwork changes for me constantly. Current favorite art work is the Alt Art Infernape from Twilight Masquerade! Absolutely beautiful card showcasing a great Gen 4 Pokemon!
I love the Charizard SIR from OBF. Man, this look is so badass and unique. I am hoping to be able to fill one time capsule tub full of booster boxes from various S&V sets, and then hold it for 15 years for my son. Also bro, you definitely deserve WAAAAY more subscribers. you're a legend!
My favourite Pokémon card artwork is Pikachu Ex xy124 black Star promo with electrabaz and jolteon behind.🤩😍😍 My goal for this year is to start training more often and to make the body i want 😊
My favorite artwork is the Charmander black star promo from Obsidian Flames. It’s perfect. My goal of mine is to complete the 151 master set because it was such a well rounded set that hit me right in the nostalgia!
I’ve got 3 of the Eevee from TM, one at PSA right now. I think it’s a gem moving forward! For me, can’t wait to see how the 151 reprint does and hopefully I can continue to invest in the set that brought me back into card collections and the Pokémon universe!
One of my favorite cards are the Charizard sirs from S&V and the PAF Gardevoir SIR. My goal is to get my collection to be worth $1000 in two years. (I know it's not this year but) It's around $450 now but considering I just seriously got started a few months ago, I think I can do it. Honestly I think your channel is super underrated and you definitely deserve at least 250k subs.
It's very difficult to pick only one favorite artwork, but if I had to choose I'd probably say the Galarian gallery gold Arceus Vstar. Honorable mention for Galarian gallery Darkrai Vstar, another unbelievable artwork!
My favorite card art is the bubble mew ex, such a beautiful card. A goal I am currently working on is trading my old games for cards and making more money on them than the games alone.
I’ve been super lucky with my paldea evolved journey. I bought 4 booster boxes to start the set. I packed two karps and the iono. So glad this set is holding up and its generally cheap compared to what’s out there.
My favorite artwork of all time is the Mitsuhiro Arita Shining Legends "Mewtube". I have multiple copies and one in my phone case displayed so I can have it with me at all times. One goal I have is to try and volunteer my time more. Great vid!
I LOVE the Suicune V art from Crown Zenith, has to be my favourite, with this I really want to complete the Crown Zenith Master Set or a Galarian Gallery master set some day, don't currently have the budget tho.
I really like the Charmander Evolutions in the 151 set with the Cliff artwork. Although I always pick a water starter in every game, the Charmander line really goes above and behind making it feel like a natural habitat where you would just find one in the wild and I think the colors are just epic in those cards too. Currently, I am trying to collect the 151 set and the E-reader series. I think E-reader isn't very popular so it would be really fun to build that collection up and find some rare cards with it.
I am just in love with ninetales illustration rare from twilight masquerade. A goal of mine is probably to expand my growing Pokémon collection that I started two months ago.
Oh man, by far my favorite artwork recently has been the celebrations 25th anniversary reshiram & zekrom. I have such a sweet spot for black & white. Those are my two chases in a PSA 10 at the moment. Got the reshiram now we just gotta get the zekrom. As for goals man, I’m just trying to stay in good health & faith, started cooking more & getting back into more artistic endeavors like painting, video editing, etc!
I absolutely LOVE the full art cards, my favorite changes constantly but right now I am obsessed with the twilight masquerade Eevee illustration rare. Been ripping packs for a few days hoping to pull it 🤞
I love the Silver Tempest Lugia. It looks absolutely amazing! I am starting my very own youtube channel about Pokemon. I have been wanting to start one for a while but am now gaining the courage to start. I want to do openings, news, and sales. My goal this year is to hit 1000 subs and bring more people to the hobby.
With the release of Stellar Miracle, my fav artwork is definitly the one from Terapagos ex SAR, amazing coloring on the boarders and the shining details! just cannot get enough, my goal is coutinue collecting those amazing cards and sealed product + keep working out and being fit :D thx again for this great opportunity!
I would say my favorite artwork, and the one that mainly got me into collecting Pokemon Cards, is the Dragon Fate's Milotic. I am hoping to collect all the Milotics and Gardevoirs as they are my top 2 favorite pokemon.
Favorite artwork is Blastoise full art from 151. I love the underwater perspective of a water pokemon. Goal is to set up a start up business with my partner.
I skipped this set and then went back to collect the cards a couple months ago. I can't believe I skipped it. I really like the various artworks. Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu SIR are probably my favorites, but there are a lot of nice cards in the set. And that too, there are so many cards in Pal Evolve. It's massive.
Currently my favorite card is the Gloom illustration rare from Obsidian Flames. Not the most expensive card, but man, the colors and the artwork on it are incredible imo. Looking ahead, I’m looking forward to taking more care of my physical and mental health - had our first kid and that definitely was a whirlwind 😅 so looking forward to getting back on track!
I love the mismagius ir! Reminds me of a classic wotc card from magic but with a modern pokemon twist. My daughter loves anything mew, we just pulled the shiny from paldean fates and she went nuts lol my goal is to complete a few master sets while opening packs with my daughter and growing our channel!
My favorite artwork is split between the OF Ninetales and the 151 Zapdos! Goals for this year is to get a side hustle going to help with investing/collecting as well and providing additional income for the household. Ideally I do this in the TCG space!
Another great video, keep up the good work. My favourite artwork of the latest generation is Ninetales IR from Obsidian Flames. I can't wait to get an SIR of Ninetales someday in the future. My goal this year is to attend a card convention and get some masterball cards (unfortunately no Ninetales masterball card).
My favorite card right now has to be the Larvitar IR from Obsidian Flames. I’m actually working on a little painting of him right now 😊. By the end of the year my goal is to get a business started either Pokémon card based or reptile based.
Fav art has to be Regigigas gg55 from CZ. Depicting Regigigas as a mountain guardian really stands out to me. As for a goal, I’m still in school and quite broke so I would like to set out a goal to get better at saving money. Love what you’re doing!
Favourite artwork: Greninja from TM. Just love the boldness of all the colours. I know it's not loved by everyone but that card is definitely on the wishlist for myself. Personal goal is to get a full paying job after this family crisis is over and really be able to put myself in a better spot financially. It's been nice to bond with my brother over getting back into collecting but I know this hobby can get really expensive really quick. There's some cards I can only dream of possessing by I keep an eye on prices just to get an idea of the market, both vintage and modern.
Great hit and your recent openings have been an accurate representation of the highs and lows of ripping packs. Cards pulled always have a higher personal value to me, even if not necessarily the chase cards. Add the Karp to the PC ! 🤙🏼 My fav card art at the moment is zapdos EX SIR from 151, love how it displays all the legendary birds in the sky and holds some great childhood memories of the movies for me
My favorite card art work has got to be the OG Reshiram and Charizard Tag Team, card looks so beautiful and Sun and Moon Era cards holo foils just went hard! My Goal this year is to pull that special illustration Greninja Ex out of Twilight Masquerade, that card is so beautiful!
Mine is the Arceus V star GG70. I have not collected since I was a kid and it has gotten me back into it. I hope to start expanding my portfolio much more!
