Binge watching & learning so much information. I’m about to start real estate school and I wanted to do property management but it looks like a leasing agent would be more fun and a better fit for me. Thanks for all the information you provide
Chastin you made my day😘 You just made me rethink my agenda. Since am already a leasing agent and in school for my RE licence I should open my own Leasing Agency. No brainer. I enjoy leasing and i can wholesale on the side. With the voice of Mr. Burns from the Simpson's "EXCELLENT"!!!! Thanks again.
I got my real estate license at age 22, and never renewed it. Now here I am at 35, looking to renew and hit the ground running. My research brought me to this video. Thank you for this information!
It's still too early for me to choose an occupation, but property management and commercial property work seem to be up my alley, since they're more clear cut and not as emotionally investing the same way residential leasing is. Thanks for the information Chastin!
What firm you join, I'm interested in realestate and I'm not old enough to get my license but I've been looking into these videos. what exactly did you do once you got your license how did you make your connections.
Hey i am 16 and I am considering real state for my future do you have any tips for me on what courses I need to take in uni or in Alevels (if u ever done it) also how do u get ur license. As u can tell I don't know that much of real state but I would like to know haha
This video was very informing! Didn’t know I could get into real estate with a fixed salary and wasn’t aware about the potential of lease agencing if that’s even a word haha. Also was not aware that a degree wasn’t required for commercial real estate! Keep this up
Brian got distracted and lost sight of his goal. Because of Brian, I was able to stop myself from doing the same and I’m on real estate express working on prep to get mine. Thanks Brian. I hope you get back on track
I’m double majoring in marketing real estate and management and minoring in international business. I graduate next fall. Thinking about doing real estate marketing since in Minnesota it’s salary based. Figured that I could also get my real estate license too and become a listing agent. Figured that it would eventually get me to a place where I can start investing in properties and get my brokers license after 5 years experience with real estate.
Hello Chastin, I just want to say thank you for all of your videos and your honesty you put into them. You have inspired me to work harder and focus on the long run. I am currently selling cars in the Seattle area but real estate is my dream. I visited Dallas a few months ago and I absolutely love it! Hopefully, soon I will move to Dallas and follow my dream of selling real estate. Keep doing what you do and thanks again! - Daman West
Very helpful! I'm 17 & looking to get into real estate right after I graduate high school & work part time while in college (2 year university). I'm looking to take a role as a buyers or listing agent. What are your thoughts on working part time while in school?
Hey Chastin thanks for sharing going through the licensing process over here in Georgia, glad I have a lot of options to choose from.. your videos are incredibly helpful and inspiring. Keep up the good work 👌.
You are so inspiring! I’m making a leap in to real estate. I just quit my job to pursue real estate full time 😬 wish me luck. I’m going to be vlogging my journey, let me know if you have any tips or feedback for me!
Hi Chastin, I'm based here in Philadelphia. I watch your videos and the content is great! Always positive and real. Question for you, what are your thoughts on working from home vs going into the office? Which do you think is better and more productive? I'd love to see you make a video on this topic.
Me personally, I have a hard time working from home. I get too distracted so I have to go into the office everyday. It's totally up to you though. I recommend newer agents go into the office more often though so that you get submerged in the environment.
Are there specific apartment locators that you sign up to work out of? Thank you for sharing about real estate. I'm trying to make a decision to stay in it, and what you said was helpful.
Hi Chastin. These five jobs you mentioned can only be done while being sponsored? I’m a new Realtor and I am researching which role I want to play. I’m leaning primarily to being a leasing agent in the beginning to generate some revenue and then possibly becoming a property manager. What do you think?
Hi Chastin, good to meet you. A couple questions I have is, 1) can I start off w/o a license? 2) can I work as a freelancer? I'm currently looking for a home to buy, but if in case the owner wants a higher price, I could refer him/her to a broker.. Can you provide some insights for someone like myself starting out? Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks, -Rick
Rick Ford you don’t need a license if you’re simply looking to purchase a home. You can even hire a real estate agent to represent you. Now if you are looking to actually broker deals, then yes you need a license.
I would like to become a property manager and maybe work as a commercial agent as well. Do you think its possible to work in commercial property management with out a degree in real estate? Or will I only be limited to residential property management with a real estate license once I obtain one?
So I just watched this video and I’m thinking that I like the leasing opportunity as a real estate agent but I wonder if my broker would like that what do you think as far as the broker that I’m working under...would they like this path that I’m choosing especially as a new agent it’s coming into their organization they may have different expectations for me so do I pick my own or do they get to say oh no you can’t do that?
Chastin, as always My Brother you are providing what we really desire and that is an understanding of what we want to do with this License. I've been licensed for a couple of years but starting to get more engaged. Can't wait until I can fully implement Social Media into this business as well. Job well done sir. Keep up the Fantastic work.
Hello, The future agent Academy link is not working, is there somewhere I can find the extensive list of roles that can be worked with the real estate license?
Do leasing agents exist in smaller towns? I live in a very "suburb" area, but I've never really heard of that and I don't think anywhere really does that and a client wouldn't pay for it around here unless an apartment complex had their own agents or something. Any suggestion to find out about my area or how I would go about seeing if it's worth my time?
Typically builders hire salespeople for their staff, you can find those positions on the builder's websites. If you want to approach them as a Realtor to try to get listings....its a process.
I don’t have a particular product centered around that but those are things we explore in The Power Unit. That’s my monthly coaching and mentorship program.
How is the schedule like for a property manager, is it flexible or is it closer to a 9-5 job where you need to be in the office everyday. Any info you can give on the work flow of a property manager And if it can be a side job... THANKS, and GREAT VIDEO.
Do you know anything about lead generation specialist? I’ve heard other people talk about it but not in detail, It’s essentially where someone gives you a quality lead in real estate and they receive a $500 to $1500 commission after closing.... Usually .5% commission of the deal.
I recently got my license and I’ve been thinking about leaving car sales full time. I’d like to find a builder to work for while still doing listings. I’ve been wondering if there was any conflict of interest? I can’t seem to find much about it.
Hey there, I am located in Texas and here it does not fall under my real estate license. Although, I do believe it would be great to get experience with clients/ book of business, and brushing up on sales skills.
I’m a 16 year old high school student that wants to start real estate but I just don’t know how to start or get there still.Do you have any tips or help anybody?
Hello! I'm a recent college graduate that's looking to get into real estate. What kind of education would you recommend in order to own a business that helps you find people homes, rebuild the community, educate them on home ownership? I'm debating on going back for a second bachelors, masters in real estate,,
I cant scale it. It all depends on the person, how well they studied, retained/ understood the material. I never underestimated the exam and studied as though it was a 10/10 hard exam. Always prepare yourself for the most difficult situation. Thanks for watching.
Hey there Cristi, there are many roles in the real estate industry. There are internships and paid positions depending on your located and what is available there.
I have been watching you for a while Im currently waiting on TREC to send exam letter I have did all my research on exp reality. How do I go about joining our team
I just finished my classes and waiting to take my final test. Just had a question about rentals and property management. With those, is there a commission split with the broker still?
