Amazing when she plays the victim, saying she “doesn’t know what she’s doing. After wasting years telling lawyers and the Judge how they should do their job. She’s insufferable.
Naw, I think it is smart. She is allowed representation. It the judge denies and this goes to trial, it will almost automatically be overturned on appeal and she would be granted a new trial. Judge needs to appoint a lawyer and then make the lawyer stick with it.
@@margaretadam2222 Here is the text to the 6th amendment. In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence. The assistance of counsel is non-negotiable. It is a right.
She couldn’t play hide n seek properly….. did she give Jorge proper notice that she wasn’t going to open up that suitcase. Poor poor Sarah. Yeah right🤓
What is ridiculous is the fact that all of those lawyers were probably pretty darn good. The Court isn't going to risk a miss-trial due to ineffective counsel and give her a bad lawyer, but she is a sociopath
Dude! There’s no way it’s a coincidence that when they switched judges they put this guy in!! He’s no nonsense and VERY assertive. Doesn’t flinch when she says nonsense, just “you’re welcome to your opinion”. 😂
I think Sarah needs to worry less about the media in the courtroom, and more about crafting a defense strategy that will convince a jury that when they see her laughing and cursing at Jorge in a locked suitcase as he draws his last breaths, that it’s not actually what is happening in the video.
She created this problem. I give a lot of credit to the judge for bending over backwards to make sure she gets her day in court. It’s clear to see why the other attorneys quit.
some ppl might feel bad but remember she had a lawyer with 40 yrs experience who she practically fired, refused to work with and accused her of lying etc. she blew it.
And 7 other lawyers she refused to work with and accused of all sorts of things. Lots of experience. Lots of personalities. All of them unacceptable. The common denominator is Sarah. Obviously she is the problem and i too don’t feel bad for her.
The people who feel bad for her actually irritate me lol. Imo, feeling bad for her would be like feeling bad for Darrell Brooks. Both of them have their crimes recorded in 4k, & both of them have been afforded *incredible* amounts of grace, & both have repeatedly spat in the faces of any attorney that tried to advocate for them.
All of them said she was asking them to do something they weren't comfortable doing. Which my guess is lying or misrepresenting evidence. She's probably wanting to bring up stuff like that she's a "straight a student" which isn't relevant to the case. I'm waiting for her to try and pull that and then get an objection and she'll be like 👁️👄👁️
None of what she has been allowed to do is fair to the victim & his family. It's not fair to the taxpayers. She is getting special treatment when millions of others don't. She murdered a man and the judicial system has continued to allow her to play games!
The judge knows that an appeal is coming after he is done with her. He also knows that the lack of counsel will most certainly come up. It might be tedious, but he‘ll want to make sure that an appeal won‘t be successful. So he will be as lenient as he can be without sacrificing the court‘s integrity. The good news is that it won‘t matter. This case is absolutely watertight. He can be as lenient as he wants to be, the outcome will still be the same.
She is acting like a toddler that is throwing a tantrum. She is a mother and I feel so sorry for Lukas. Appeal is coming but I think the courts are preparing as they go..I would love to see her on that prison bus on her early morning trek to the women's prison reception center. Her attitude sucks.
Sarah wants her way in everything. She wants to dictate and everyone must follow. This is her own doing. I have zero sympathy for her. She disrespected every single one who tried to help her. Including the judge. Time she gets what she handed out. Starting with her victim, ex husband, son , divorce judge, divorce court , detectives, lawyers 1 to 8, public and the judge. Good luck Sarah. Your responsible for all the abuse .
@@kateashby3066 Right?! She couldn't care less that she lost her lawyer. She thinks she's going to leverage it to get the deluxe primum cell all to herself so she can work on all her paperwork! I seriously think that's what she was angling for! 😂❤ I am sure she's treating the jail staff like they are her servants.
I don't think this woman knows how to speak without attitude and snark. After all, she is clearly the smartest and most unfairly treated human being whose lover killed himself in front of her, ever! Can't you people understand that?!
Sarah as a victim is getting old, she put herself in this position. I think she is shocked that the judge actually called her bluff and put the hammer down. Thank you Peter, I love hearing your perspective as an Attorney in the state of Florida, knowing our laws & your expert knowledge.
I love how she expects the Court, the jail, and the United States Postal Service to all completely rearrange their protocols and procedures to suit her!
"no-one tells me anything" - no. No, Ms Boone. Actually - at least eight attorneys, this judge, many others, have been telling you some things over and over and over - and you most unfortunately completely lack the ability to LISTEN. So dear Ms boone, you shall now bear the consequences of your own actions.
Yes, Sarah is a classic chaos maker. It really throws people off if they haven't had to deal with that before. It sounds like this judge has got her number. ❤😮
I've seen this judge before - he's _really_ good at balancing holding people accountable with maintaining a consistent disposition. it's really impressive.
I would LOVE to see her in jail and how she interacts with guards and other inmates. That attitude of hers, her passive aggressive behavior, and that mouth... How has she managed to get by?
You are, of course, correct. But she will never acknowledge that, because as she has said too many times, “it’s not intentional “. She’ll next demand a landline in her cell so she can be notified of court appearances in advance. She’ll request the judge’s personal email address, because in her messed up head, SHE should be the Judge’s highest priority. She will start making written complaints of the Sheriff and jail staff, claiming they are hindering her defense, when in fact, ALL SHE WANTS IS SPECIAL TREATMENT. She doesn’t deserve special accommodations- she’s an inmate, and the Judge has firmly reminded her of her current status. Suck it up, Sara!
I just watched the hearing. She's more upset about the media being in the courtroom than anything else. She kept asking how the news media had advance notice of this hearing when she didn't.
I noticed her breath was changing her verbal delivery at the start and I did wonder if she is actually feeling not in control and a bit fearful. She is quick on her feet, if anything, and seems to get that under control and is back to her usual anger, snark, accusations and manipulations. Whether she is retreating to what she knows (manipulation) or is confident she can defend herself - who knows. I imagine she would (psychologically) resist facing consequences to her own behavior to the very end.
But it's an odd situation. She is presumed innocent and hasn't been convicted. But authorities have said there is a big enough chance that she's guilty that she can't run free. So her being in jail isn't a punishment, just a precaution to keep the rest of us safe. She's kinda general public, kinda not. jmho
It is just a delaying tactic/manipulation. She is not listening to the judge's answer. She is always vague. She would be impossible in a personal relationship due to this constant nit picking.
@@Triflingtales4444 right but she's still IUPG and should be treated as such. She's an idiot and she's insufferable but I can't imagine why they can't give her a private place in the jail to look at her discovery and a set of hard copies. I'm suspending my thoughts here that she is clearly guilty, even though we know she did it, because I think this isn't an unreasonable request from anyone. Give her reasonable place and a reasonable amount of time to go through it. They delayed getting these materials to her for a whole month but the trial date is not being moved. I don't know if any of this might be relevant in appeal, but moving the trial out one month doesn't seem to me to be a huge hardship.
Once you've watched a video, recorded by the defendant no less, of them taunting their victim as they commit the crime they're charged with, it's pretty difficult to overlook. I think that's why so many people have no patience for Ms. Boone. Other than the obvious fact that she's insufferable, of course.
@morrigonghoulsli4873 Her claiming she didn't leave Jorge in the suitcase intentionally just doesn't fly when you se the video. I think the only thing saving her form first degree murder is because she sounds drunk.
Well seeing as the crime itself as well as her mocking the victim was recorded, I think it's fair to draw your own conclusions. Also I don't think an innocent person would need to keep firing experienced lawyers if their case was a winnable one.
I LOVE seeing Sarah so frustrated and helpless. Maybe that will give her a clue with what Jorge went through trying to get Sarah to help him. Of course she is not terrified like Jorge was.
Peter, you are a better person than me. Sarah has never shown even a shred of remorse for Jorge, for what she did to him. She has bullied and pushed 8 lawyers away. She has been beyond difficult. I don’t give a rat’s fuzzy butt about she feels and what is happening to her. Too bad, so sad for her!
Agreed- Peter has this amazing ability to give humans grace even when they haven’t earned it. I’m not there yet myself. I particularly loathe narcissists (Sarah) because I was abused by one growing up (my dad is exactly like her!). I’ve got no patience for this toxicity. She’s getting a taste of what she asked for and she doesn’t like it. Boo. Hoo.
Thats not the point. He is staying away from emotions and keeping it about the justice system. When he sees her, he sees a potential innocent person just like every american citizen is. Nothing more, nothing less. I find that lawyers stick to facts, fairness and laws because that usually carries a lot more weight in a court room and with a judge.
Factually she didn’t push 8 away. At least 2 had conflict of interest, that wasn’t her fault. But agree she has been difficult enough that caused the others to resign.
It amazes me, her unwavering, righteous self-confidence. It doesn’t matter how bad this trial goes for her, I doubt she will ever blame herself, or experience any regrets for her actions. Not for shredding through so many lawyers and not for the horrible death inflicted on her victim.
I think you're giving her too much credit. I think she's functioning on a lower brain wavelength. She just sees everyone as somebody she can manipulate. Everybody is either an important person who should be doing something for her or a servant who she can order around and abuse.
Also imagine the fit she’d throw if she realized that the news checks court dockets MULTIPLE TIMES DAILY and that’s simply how they found out about this hearing. It’s not a conspiracy like she wants.
Honestly wish there was video coverage without a media frenzy. Monsters like her shouldn't receive the glory their pathetic narcissistic hearts desire through wall to wall coverage.
@@Whitey2716lmao for someone so smart she sure is a little slow at times. I’m in California and I can access her case easily on the Orange County online courtroom website 😂. Pretty sure the PRESS knows about this “secret” too 😂. This isn’t rocket science!
@@Whitey2716ps I’m glad the judge didn’t let her ask the press 😂. Now she can twist herself into knots and get herself really paranoid lol. Truth is all she has to do is ask anyone at the jail or another prisoner who isn’t an Id!ot and they will tell her how easy it is for anyone to see what her court docket looks like for any given day 😂
@@kateashby3066Right?! That's what makes me think it's humble bragging. "Oh, look at the way I'm being pursued/ persecuted by the Press..." I think it's part of her technique. She pointed out the press and accused the judge of calling them. She pointed out that the judge had put her in this position... then she seemed to be angling to get a deluxe private cell that could accommodate her paperwork? It might become more clear when those five petitions come in. Sarah is a real operator.
She's acting like she doesn't know that she has an investigator, but in one of her letters she specifically asked, "Who is the investigator on my case?".
Okay, I found it! The question was in the 58 page letter, "Why can't I speak to my investigator?". She was already given the answer in a letter from Lane that she included with her letter filed 08/07. He told her that he needed a letter from her attorney to be able to meet with her at the jail.
@@anniechlarcy thank you for doing the lords work! I could have sworn she had mentioned him before... wasn't he also mentioned as someone who also was trying to get ahold of the guy attorney before cashman?
As a psych RN, it’s interesting to see trauma, personality disorders and the utter Karen of it all…this judge is going to have to set boundaries and keep being concise, accurate and based in reason. There’s really something messed up about her inappropriate behavior where for the most part she is just acting like a difficult child. Attention seeking and malignant. That judge is soooo patient!
Right? I find it fascinating to watch her strategy. It's very short-term manipulative (alcoholic) and hierarchy sensitive (karen). I'm not sure if she actually wanted to get rid of her lawyer but she did seem to want to force the judge (manager) to deal directly with her. She seems to be trying to get special perks and services because of the position she's got herself into... I mean that 'he put her in'.😂❤
She wanted to be in court every time, well here you go! Peter, she knows exactly who he is. She even used him to triangulate with the last male lawyer but one. (?) Allegedly he loved to take her calls.
She also knew who Billy Lane was nearly a year ago. In fact, she had been in contact with him back then, so she can drop the whole “who is this…when was he assigned my case…what does he do…” etc etc
The look on her face at the end is everything. When she left the hearing with Cashman she was smirking and so pleased with herself. Not this time. Definition of F around and find out.
Yes, she was definitely pissed off! I don't think this is going like she thought it would... she seems to think the Judge has to explain things to her and that's not how it works.😂❤
She wanted to be at every hearing. Now she has to be at every hearing and she can't handle it. I think she's already drafting her appeal, and will even appeal an acquittal in the slim chance that it happens.
@@teo72ng17 1) There's zero chance that investigator is going to be able to make a perfect copy of all of the material without missing anything, given the sheer volume of the material it probably be an impossable task for any single person so that's going to be at least 1. Then there's the time restrictions on access to the material. Also, merely the fact that it was digitized and she couldn't get the hard copy that's appealable. I could go on but you get the point It doesn't matter whether or not she'll win in appeals court It's whether or not she has a bases for an appeal, to be more clear. So yes this case will be tied up already for a very long time and they haven't even really started the trial.
@@amelliamendel2227 Your first point is just an assumption by you. Unless that actually happens, it's not appealable. On your point about the material being digitized, please point out the law where that violates her due process. She's in jail. She is limited by what the jail is able to provide to her with regard to security. Regarding her time with the discovery. That may be an argument, but this is not the first time she's seen any of the material since she's been in jail. I'm pretty sure she's gone over some or most of it with her previous attorneys. Finally, everyone has the right to file an appeal if they are convicted. Whether the issues have any merit to succeed is a different story. You said there were 7 appealable issues but only point out 3. Of the 3, only one might have a legitimate chance to succeed. All trials that end with a guilty verdict will be tied up in court for a while due to the appeal process. This one will be no different is she's convicted.
@@ellenhood1356 One of them (the first, I believe) withdrew due to scheduling conflicts, not due to her behavior. I would add a2: recorded herself gleefully unaliving him.
To put it in very informal, laymens terms: Sarah Boone is very butthurt, quite fanny troubled, absolutely booty bothered that she has to represent herself and the judge and the court simply can't see that this is so hard for her and she's truly a victim in all of this. Truly, she is a testament to patience... for the judge.
⚖️ In the Darrell Brooks case he communicated directly with the court via electronic ICFs. While convenient and timely, one can only imagine the nightmare such a system would become in the hands of Sarah “blabber fngers’ Boone! 🙆🏼♀️😂
My prediction is that Sarah Boone will be rude and obnoxious to her investigator same as she had been rude and obnoxious to everybody else and her investigator will end up quitting.
Oh, that's so totally next week. I'm working on my predictions for what's in those five memos she's sending the court! So far I've got that she's going to request bail, that she's going to request a large private cell so she can do her paperwork in the wee hours.
she is going to make a mockery of the trial because there isn't single reason not to. Deep down she knows that she is guilty, so why not drag this out as much as possible.
As I understand it, jails are much worse conditions than prisons. I have heard that some people want a speedy trial so they can go to prison and start serving their time in a "better" environment. I suppose if you're looking at murder though, 20+ years is a long time to be spending in prison.
Agreed. At the same time, I get the sense her outrage and entitlement are genuine, and she wholeheartedly believes she is the one who has been victimized throughout this process. Brooks' courtroom BS seemed much more like he was putting on a show bc if he was going down, he was going to make everyone else miserable while it happened. Sort of like his criminal swan song. Boone is clearly attention seeking w her obnoxious behavior, but it doesn't feel like a "show." I think she really believes she is in the right and the only one who knows the "truth" about what happened. This will be an interesting trial to watch for sure.
The trial is going to take twice as long she's going to be saying things like I didn't know the prosecution had this or that it's not fair & interrupting all the time.
I don't think so. All the prosecution has to do is introduce the evidence and show the video. 😮 Then she gets to cross-examine. Maybe try to present something herself? I think the prosecution said 2 days... she might have 2 days at a stretch, should take the jury about 2 hours.
Listening to her here reminds me of being a customer service rep. Gave me instant flashbacks of the most … um.. “difficult” people. She just wants to argue with anyone that is forced to interact with her, repeats the same points that have already been answered. This trial will be very entertaining.
Yes, I'm wondering if she got rid of her lawyers on purpose so the judge would have to deal directly with her... like she thinks the judge is the manager! 😂❤
Oh please, like she's not eating up the "worldwide" media attention she's receiving! Like Peter said, its an open public forum and they have a right to be there and report on the case. Maybe if she hadn't acted like an unbearable, entitled psychopath since the moment she got arrested the media would have never picked up the story!
That poor fellow having to "digitize" every single piece of evidence in those boxes! ha ha 1. Select document. Position on scanner. Scan. Save to thumb drive. 2. Repeat ten trillion times. 3. Turn it all over to Lawyer Sarah (who will pull every trick in the book to avoid having to proceed in this case, starting with "How do I turn this computer on... ).
Certainly it's easier than that; you can get autofeed two-sided scanners (25 years ago!) and you can scan multiple pages to PDF. I wrote a system for the military to do that.
The more they find solutions to her “problems”, the smaller she will seem and the smaller the chance that she’ll get out on a technicality or something similar. Of course she’s not happy. She complains about things in the hopes that someone in power throws up their hands and says “you’re right Sarah! You’re too good for all of us” and let her go her own merry way to drink herself to death. She definitely doesn’t complain with the goal of having legitimate solutions presented.
Sarah is something else. You know she’s going to continue to pout about how she doesn’t know what she’s doing and is forced to be her own counsel. Like how the judge reminded her that he told her this would be a hard challenge going pro se. Lol
I doubt he wanted to die a slow cramped death. What you stated is not funny at all and those laughing at his expense should remember he has a family out there and could possibly be reading y’all’s asinine comments.
Its one of my biggest fears, but daaang, if you're that kinda person, that is Not the way to act😅. She needs some serious attitude coaching b4 trial. Even if she were obviously innocent, acting like her, the Jury would say guilty. What is she thinking??!
No one likes not being in control. Most of us find ways to live around whatever limits are on our life. Sarah seems to exhibit exertion of control over everything and everyone she comes across, which indicates she has been successful at getting control that way in the past. She seems to think she can convince the audience (aka the world) she is a mega victim.
@@deerinheadlights100well said. Sarah is a narcissist and that’s a result of serious trauma (her parents were abusive). My sister IS Sarah and that’s also her name! Our dad was a narc. Anyway, the reason why they are control FREAKS is that we didn’t have any control in childhood when we felt unsafe, so it’s a major trauma response and defense mechanism. Losing the small amount of control she did have… she is now triggered AF.
I don't believe her boyfriend was abusive like she claims. I think he was straight up. Just doing normal stuff like having to go to work instead of being able to bend to her every desire but in her twisted narcissistic mind she interprets that as abuse because something she wants is being denied from her
27:06 I'm sorry but as much as I can understand her frustration, I don't feel bad for her. She manufactured this problem through her various acts since the start of this trial and then got upset about the consequences of those actions. If the Judge decides not to grant her leniency throughout this trial, that's solely on her disrespect of the legal process.
She loves the news crew. She loves to show all of us how smart she is while playing the victim. I feel sorry for this poor investigator. I wonder if he knows what he is in for.
A laptop makes the most sense. Sarah complained about other inmates listening in on convos between her lawyer and her. Having hard copies in her cell w open access presents the same privacy issues. And pages of discovery could go astray.
She's told every single lawyer she had assigned to her that they didn't know what they were doing...now she gets to show everyone how it's really done! 🤣🤣🤣
Notice her professional court room talk? She doesn't even address the Judge correctly when speaking to him. Where she says ' this is not right so not fair ' or on those lines, no where does she say "Your Honor" or call him Your Honor during this hearing as she is directing questions to him about the help she now will need .
She tried to throw out insults and remarks here and there. , interrupted him 1x Sara’s not used to being bound by any rules and boundaries so I’m sure this was incredibly hard for her not to act out when she doesn’t get her way
@@windywednesday4166 Did u notice her heavy breathing and lip pursing? My God it’s OBVIOUS she physically violent when she doesn’t get her way! I wouldn’t be surprised if she does strike out at someone before this is over.

Everything is hers. "Uh they kicked my bunk at 3am" yes. You are in jail sarah. "Is my time PRORATED?" NO. JFC
The biggest lesson Sarah needs to learn is: Unfair does not = unlawful! Say it all you want, Sarah, but you and you alone (ignorance is NOT a lawful argument either) need to prove it's unlawful. Same thing with saying "it's wrong" or "malaligned". What matters here, is the law.
