She recorded herself, so no way she gets away with it. She locked him in the suitcase then beat him taunted him and then left him to suffocate. I've seen the interrogation and arrest videos of this, she recorded it on her laptop.
This is all a game for Sarah. Honestly what else does she have to do all day. She's just trying to delay the inevitable. "she needs to be nice to me" Oh puhlease!
I'm usually sympathetic to mental issues, but after multiple lawyers, it's Manipulation of everyone's efforts-- and still, no remorse for the Killing. Mental or not, she's yanking everyone around, imho.
I feel SO bad for Patricia Cashman. She seemed like she was really trying to help Sarah with her case and Sarah is just trying to take her down. Ms. Cashman has 40+ years of experience in criminal defense so Sarah should have been honored to have Ms. Cashman representing her. I hope the judge will allow her to withdraw…NO ONE deserves to be treated like Sarah treats these lawyers! Not to mention the way she treated JORGE…let’s not forget what got Sarah here in the first place!!!!

That’s what I think too and I’ve never been on a jury. The state probably has a pretty solid case and it’s not gonna take much to get a guilty verdict. And I think Sara probably knows that and why she’s doing all this BS

I can’t remember what channel I saw it on, but Sarah had written letters from jail to the judge complaining about her ex, and accusing him of allowing their son to be mean to her, and alienating her from him. Good! Glad the child sees how toxic she is and tells her so.
I think Patricia Cashman is saying that Sarah Boone is taking more time than she has available to be able to support Sarah and her other clients. Her pointing out the 20 hours she has spent with her (since Feb)…It sounds like Sarah wants excessive contact and only wanted in person meetings, despite walking out of two of them. Just my thoughts.
I would't stay on either. This client defames every single attorney. She shouldn't be forced to represent someone who is actively trying to ruin her reputation.

This is the second attorney who claimed in their withdrawal memo that Sarah asked them to do something unethical. What does the judge do if Sarah is demanding a defense that is unethical?
Just go to trial, telling Boone that her attorney will refuse to do anything on her behalf which is illegal or unethical, without going into the particulars.

When Sarah told the judge that she "informed" the lawyer that if she changed her "snotty attitude" they could work together, that's all I needed to hear. That sentence reveals so much about Sarah's personality. She will have to represent herself She wants a lawyer to coddle her and say that she is the victim and should serve no time. She doesn't want to hear that being blackout drunk isn't enough. Yes, Jorge was also arrested for DA but this lead to death. Maybe one of Sarah's "fans" is an attorney who can take her case. 🙄🤔
I suspect this lawer (and new judge?) have been tasked with recording absolutely everything and sealing the case against appeal. Past that its time to march sarah to the courthouse. Its being shown that sarah is expecting to be re-shown everything for each lawyer-but thats not needed in the slightest to get this show rolling
Judge must let her try defend herself. She will have no one to blame but herself when things go horribly wrong. She is deliberately doing this to delay a trial. The lawyer is not lying. Boone is the perpetual victim and will lie to get her way. Just like she did about her dead partner.
They need that in, it shows that she was drunk. In my opinion, Sarah is avoiding looking like a drunk at the cost of her freedom. She just cannot admit it. I think she’s arguing with every attorney that wants to use that defense. I mean, what else could it be?

Sarah wants a lawyer to sit with her and let her ramble on indefinitely wasting time. Lawyers have time restrictions and need the meetings to be productive. I saw this coming as soon as her 8th attorney was appointed. This has gotten way too out of control. Seriously, it is high time the judge slams down the hammer and makes Ms. Boone represent herself already. I tell ya I love the American justice system more than our Canadian Judicial system due to the fact that sadly, frustratingly we are far too lenient on crime. However one thing judges here would have done is not let a defendant drag and delay and disparage lawyer after lawyer after lawyer. Ms.Boone is playing ridiculous games. I am so fed up. Always kills me, that these individuals are awarded a court appointed attorney, nowhere does it say they have to like them too! It helps, buts it’s not a requirement! Her pleading to the judge “tell her to be nice to me!” Her whole snit about a bond hearing is ridiculous. She was set with no bond. She can’t pay the bond herself, otherwise she wouldn’t have a court appointed attorney. Her brother has valid concerns, he probably doesn’t have the assets to pay a bond either, and her thinking her fans will do a go fund me for the bond is the ultimate of delusional.

I agree. I think she is majorly enjoying the press coverage, and if the trial ends, so does the press coverage and the era of rotting in jail alone commences. The number of times she mentions press, letters, and "fans"....she is addicted to her own story.

My dad was a criminal/family attorney for 40 years. Judges rarely granted motions to withdraw when I worked for him. Most run-of-the-mill motions are based on client's lack of payment coupled with a burdensome time commitment on the attorney. I always respected the legal system's tradition of ethics when it comes to stuff like that. It sucks for the attorney, but it's important for the long arc of legal ethics.
Oh, FFS!!!! I believe in due process for the accused, but where is the line drawn? Is Ms. Boone trying to stall on purpose, is she truly unwell? Or both? I’m sure the victim’s family would like their due process as well

My guess is that SB has told all her lawyers that the police interrogation has to be thrown out AND she wants a battered spouse expert AND she wants to be out on bond. Since none of these are possible, she keeps asking for a new lawyer. 🤷🏻♀️
someone on another channel thought the delaying tactics Boone is using is in the hope the case gets thrown out and she is found guilty of manslaughter and gets sentenced to time already served. also mentioned she might be comfortable in the facility she is at compared to a big scary prison. who knows with Boone?
I don't see why it would take all that long to do this. The state will get all their evidence in in one day. Defense calls an expert and gets done in a morning. Afternoon cross, maybe into day 3. State calls a rebuttal expert plus cross (less than a day). If SB testifies, add half a day? Keeping her up there helps nobody. Closing and 38 minutes for deliberation. What am I missing?
At this point it's pretty obvious Ms Boone is delaying her trial intentionally. She's probably comfortable in jail and doesn't want to go to prison. If she can do her time in jail (imo) she is good with that But she doesn't get to pick and choose at this point. Maybe the judge just needs to look at the evidence and convict her as he feels fit

I'm all for fair & proper representation, but ... At what point does the court have authority to intervene on behalf of the victim? Off topic but attorney Brian Steele (YSL trial) was granted a bond today by the Supreme Court. So for now, he doesn’t have to go to jail this weekend. There’s also been a motion filed for the judge to recuse himself, by one of the defendants, and it has the detailed version of what happened in the exparte meeting, allegedly.
Me to, Sarah Boone is controlling the court. They need to let go of what an appellant court might or might not say, she has had 8 lawyers this is getting beyond stupid.
Both Lori Vallow and Alex Murdaugh have come to trial and gone to prison, all before Boone has come anywhere near. Boone's case is a simple one. No sprawling financial crimes, and multiple bodies and conspirators, requiring mapping of mobile phones, and movement of assets, and family members behaving in all sort of dodgy ways. Just Boone videoing herself telling her boyfriend, who's begging and saying he can't breathe, that it serves him right. It is just so ironic. She was arrested at almost exactly the same time as Lori Vallow. And Vallow's trail was long delayed by all her stints in and out of psyche wards. This trial will take a week at most. If this were in a novel or a film, people would criticize it for being just too unbelievable and ridiculous.
I haven't read the comments yet, but here is my thought. Sara is playing a crazy game, I think she is doing this to make all kind of apelet issues. Did you notice how she said "My Fans". Sara complains about the cameras but in reality she loves it and is using it or trying to use it to her benefit, if the judge can see this little game, I hope he will not make the 51 page letter public (not sure if that is possible). He gave a copy to the prosecutor and one to her soon be departed lawyer but if the media can not get a hold of it, that would take the wind out of her sails. Also on the last video did you see as she was leaving she turned to the camera and grinned. As much as it pains me cause I do love a good train wreck they should take the camera out until she goes to trial, maybe not but for sure Sara is no dummy she is playing this game and causing delay after delay after delay then plays the victim.
I don’t think it will be THAT hard to find a jury. I honestly believe there a enough people who have never even heard of her. It’s hard to separate it, but there’s a lot of people who aren’t like us and watch court and true crime so diligently 😅
I’m not sure as many people know about this case as you think, Peter. Yeah, it got national attention for a short while, but since then it’s us law junkies and true crime fans paying attention. Ask my husband who Sarah Boone is and he’ll ask if we met her at a party. So it might not be as hard to seat a jury as you imagine. As for testimony, once that suitcase video is shown along with her police interview, it’s over. Nobody is going to care if she had domestic issues with Jorge. I think that bringing in the fact that she also hurt him, that she’s a drunk, is going to harm that defense. She could have left him, her ex was very helpful in her life and Jorge wasn’t going to stop her. And I don’t know what other defense is even possible, so I think 5 days is doable. Her mocking tone as he is dying is too disturbing, and I’m not sure a jury can be swayed away from that. In her shriveled little heart Sarah knows that and is messing this up on purpose, as well as being impossible to work with naturally. For some reason, she’s decided jail is better than prison, and also has caught on to the appellate problems the judge is worried about, so I think she’s deliberately dragging this out. But her nasty personality isn’t fake so it’s a double-whammy. I don’t think she can even pretend to be decent. I’d do same as you. Tell Sarah this is her final lawyer, and the trial still goes in October. If she doesn’t like the next one, she can exercise her right to have an attorney of her choosing at her expense (maybe her fans will pay!) or she can represent herself. Which I want to see, it would be Christmas! I cannot wait to read that letter. Sorry, didn’t mean to write a novella.
The crux is, that the 9th lawyer will look at the case and probably agree with all the other previous attorneys. Sarah won’t like that and writes another letter…. Sarah for me a herself to represent herself because no one is good enough for her. She does this on purpose.
At this point, surely all smart defense lawyers in the entire state of Florida have drafted retirement and resignation letters preemptively. Just in case they're the unlucky one to get the call.
Judge told her appointing this lawyer, that this was it. Didn't he? And it should be it. Sure there are possible problems for appeal, but at least that time would be spent in prison, that she so wants to avoid.
Honestly it’s impressive at this point. Trying to have a conversation with her must be absolutely exhausting. I can only imagine it’s just the attorney trying to explain to her that it doesn’t matter that she keeps insisting it was not on purpose. She’s just the kind of person I can imagine willingly staying in prison out of spite.
My opinion is she's had too many lawyers already. I wouldn't give her a 9th lawyer but I don't really know what all the options are for this judge. I mean there comes a time when it just gets to be ridiculous. She's delaying for some reason she knows how to play the system or something. I don't know the reason for rejecting every attorney you're given. Does she think they're going to give up on her and release her? She has ulterior motives I just don't know what they are. I was pretty sure a female attorney would be perfect for her but I guess I was wrong on that one.
A psych friend of mine once told me that if you feel within 5 minutes of meeting a person that you need to urgently get away from them, high likelihood that they are a Borderline personality. Found it to be true.

she's a vulnerable narcissist, in my opinion. bpd has a different game; they are better at reading the room and working people, adapting new personalities very quickly to get their way, mirror the individuals they are talking to. she has an extremely persistent grandiosity on the forefront and not much more than that.
