In fact, if you only lost to the three best team in La Liga, you still gona get the champion title in the league, and it is also true in every league. For example, in last season english premier, Chelsea beats Man City for three times, but they were eventually behind for like 20 pts. In one sentence, you only need to win every game you need to win. But in UEFA champion league, most of time, you only have one chance or two, and that is all you get. You lost, you going home. That suddenly changed everything. That really needs the top technique and the best you can do on the pitch. For players like Lukaku or Suarez, they have the best stats. Why aren't they the same level with Messi, Ronaldo and Lewy? Because you need to outplay the opponents in games like World Cup Final, Champion League Final or Any kinds of final. Getting lots of goals are called consistency which is supper important also.

Navas is still great, ronaldo still op even if not as good as back then, benzema varane carvajal kroos casemiro are still good but a lot of players from that madrid era have declined. If they were still there instead of hazard vinicious rodrygo militao etc they would still make a great team but nowhere near as good as before

It’s impossible to say who is the greatest of all time. We had the likes of Pele, Johan Cruyff, Maradona and Ronaldo Nazario before Messi and CR7. But all of them played in different eras against different kind of opposition. So it’s impossible to compare.
