There has been plenty of times I would get in the backseat of my tinted car and take a nap during breaks between classes and work. Have my whole body covered in my blanket. Lol.

I love taking naps. I am a pro at taking them in between classes, extra curricular activities, and work. Even if it is for 10 minutes, I will instantly fall asleep.
Ah well that's probably why you're able to take naps, because your body actually needs them due to lack of sleep. I get AT LEAST 8 hours of sleep each night so I guess my body doesn't need the extra sleep during the day. I've tried though! Lol

I hated siestas as a child. I would stare at the ceiling for 55 mins of my 1hour nap time, then fall asleep in the last 5 mins, only to have my mum wake me up 5 mins after sleeping. Now, at my age, I crave afternoon sleep. I want to sleep ALL THE DARN TIME!!! ...I'm getting old, man!
Adrienne and my father are alike because my dad can literally nap everywhere and I mean everywhere LOL. My dad napped at theme parks before, he naps in church, he napa at parties, he naps at other people's houses he naps at the shopping malls, and he naps in train stations and busses. I wish I can nap everywhere but I can't and I agree with Tamar because napping is a skill. The only places I can sleep or take naps are in my bed, my couch, and in my car and that's about it.

Around college I see people napping everywhere including the floor. Personally, I love the little quick naps I used to take in some of my most boring classes. Then waking up like "Oh, let me write these notes". I would always pass with flying colors so I didn't feel bad.

I was brought up with mandatory siesta too. I remember falling asleep during night prep at boarding school only to wake up to my classmates laughing so much and apparently I farted which was very loud. The thing is I don't remember farting at all.

Adrianne that's the Spanish blood in you. I love doing the siesta, it's my favorite time of the day. 1-3 pm is siesta time in Spain. You can literally sue somebody who wakes you up during that time. It's really impolite.
I'm such an ugly sleeper with my mouth just hangin' and drool and light snoring that I am so afraid to fall asleep in public places. As much as I wanna knock the hell out, only way I'll nap in public is if my head is down on a table or desk or if I have a hoodie or blanket covering my face.

I too suffer from narcolepsy.... It has become more common now but I use to be ashamed and in denial. It has changed my life but I a learning to deal with it. Acceptance plays a big part although there is no cure it can be helped with medication... Wish you well and I love the show!!!!!!!

Senior year, I seriously should have gotten checked at a clinic somewhere! I could not refrain from falling asleep; whether it was in class, at lunch, even at the wheel driving home... I fell asleep any and everywhere. I used to get home at like 5 or 6 and slept until the morning when it was time to get up and get ready for school lol...
My man's favorite pass time is napping too, he is always getting me to take them naps with him, at times i accidentaly do, but mostly i just wait wait till he is knocked out and silently sneak away, im really not about napping,I always get the feeling that i will miss out on some great stuff while i nap!

I nap on the subway all the time lol mostly in the morning during rush hour when everyone is going to work and school because everyone else is napping too! Those are the best though -- I feel so refreshed and energized for work, and it makes the ride go faster.
I'm with Adrienne , I could fall asleep any where at anytime . I was on a taxi boat in NYC for a end of the year class trip and I fell asleep standing up leaning against a pole on the boat . I'v fallen asleep at a table in universal studios while I was waiting for people to get off the ride . I've fallen asleep at the metro bus stop on a bench at the station . I love to nap and can do it anywhere at anytime . Luckily for me I don't snore unless I'm really tired
I just can't nap.. i have to agree with Tamar on this because i am of the impression that some people are just good at taking naps when i am not. My heart races so hard when I try and if I force myself then i literally have nightmares like no joke. siesta was mandatory in my household and in my country everything closes at 12 noon until 3pm at least so people can nap.

One time I got locked out of the house and it was cold no one was home because I left my key in the house, there was snow on the ground from a few days before and I knocked out for 2 hrs in the cold 😅😅😅 I'm like Adrienne a little bit, I can knock out anywhere if I tried and I'm really tired 😂😂😂
