He doesn’t know what he’s talking about… wildCRAFTED seamoss is where they wrap the moss around ropes in the ocean… pool seamoss is the worst, wildCRAFTED is second worse, wildHARVESTED is the best and only “real” seamoss. Wild is smaller, not large ropes when rehydrated. Much more expensive and doesn’t yield nearly as much. But it’s real and the only one that contains all those nutrients from rocks this guy is talking about.

According to Sebi's son, Victor, not all authentic sea moss contains the full 92 minerals. I believe he said it depends on things like where it was sourced, the condition of the water, etc. The same way a mango from Honduras won't taste the same as the ones here in the states.

Buy from a company that dives to collect the sea moss from the rocks and sand, NOT the kind that's grown on ropes. Ask the company for their source and pictures and videos of their harvesting. I've seen both on companies websites and I chose the one whose harvesters had on scuba gear.

I get mine from Akeem Pierre on youtube. I tried a few other sources but his is by far the best IMO. He also has some great youtube vidoes and he also sells the best natural teas. One thing about Akeem is that he stands by his products, and you never get attitude from him.

The real stuff doesn't have a lot of salt falling off of it and its not as thick as the fake, IMO.

It would be better for you to purchase raw seamoss then making your own gel because a lot of people sell fake seamoss gel

Go to youtube and look for Akeem Pierre. I love his seamoss and he stands by his product. He never sends a bunch of junk that happened to me from a sista in Jamaica. Not only that, she had a bad attitude like she was doing me a favor. Never used her again.

Akeem Pierre is the best IMO. You can find him on youtube. Brother stands by his products and he has a lot of healthy trees. His seamoss comes from St. Lucia. He doesn't just sell seamoss but teaches you about other herbs and how they affect your health.

I ordered mine from Vital Vegan. It still had bits of rock attached. Stay away from etsy.

It does expand once you soak it. I generally soak it over night and it most cases, about 24 hours.

Peace Fam. Saint Lucia seamoss is farm grown. Meaning they grow it in the ocean. Jamaican Seamoss is Wildcrafted meaning they dive in the ocean and pick it naturally once it’s ready to be harvest. Saint Lucia seamoss will never have it grown in the rocks. If your looking for wild crafted moss let me know.

On the contrary, I have friends and family who have purchased sea moss that was pool grown in Jamaica while on vacation! 😱 There's no much scamming with many products in Jamaica, which is one reason I won't go there.
