I fell in love with your channel on the first video i watched. You are Amazing and the only one posting almost daily and showing us how this is possible being a volume eater !! You have changed my mindset for the better and now im not starving with all the tips and tricks you have given us. Every video has nuggets of ideas, advice and so on Please don't change being you. I love the sweet kiddos and they bring a smile to my face!! You live a life of a mom and that is what resonates with me. Thank you for everything you do and share with us!!!
??? Question ❓ "Do you finish the entire amounts of the foods you show yourself eating?" By the way you give me courage to be myself as I venture into the social media world.....thank you for being true to YOU!
Love your videos!!! You made me start to think outside the box of just following recipes!!!! I’d love to learn more about your mom!! She seems to have a big influence on your way of eating. Love the relationship you have shown that you have with her.
Here is a question for you. How do the schools work in the UK? Schools in the US, kids start @ 5 years old. Lots of people her are starting to homeschool because of all the garbage taught in public school. Romi is so little to go to school, just wondering how that works. : Love your what I eat in a day. Keep up the great work! We appreciate you!
Question for your Q+A : is it hard or harder to spend time with James family than yours because they aren’t vegan ? What thoughts do they have about your family being vegan ?
A Q&A Day. What a nice idea. I watch another RU-vidr - he vlogs about living off grid. Every other Friday, he will have written down a whole bunch of viewer questions (some are quite funny), and he has already had time to think of how he wants to answer them, and he does such a good job. He doesn't do it as much anymore, like he used to. Probably because he has seen the same questions over and over, only asked in a slightly different way. But more power to you, if you have the time to your already busy schedule.
Q? Can’t understand how you stay so thin with such a “whopping” amount of food… when we had it hammered into us that calorie deficit is a must but I find it hard to get my head around it!! You look fantastic and so down to earth. Thank you for the vlogs 😊 Rosey
Love all your creations your so inspiring, would love to see other cultures being veganized, oil free calorie density... Also so e enjoy seeing the babies growing in front of our eyes!☺
I appreciate everything you share Ami! Love your offerings and always look forward to your videos. Often go back over old ones too. Thanks for helping me get back on track with my plantbased eating x
bucket list of where you’d like to travel to? why you started following starch solution after being lifelong vegan? how you began your broccoli mum journey as career? thanks for all your fantastic creative inspiration.
OMG once again some mind blowing recipes ❤ Can't wait to try the rice balls and moong dal halwa. I have grown up eating halwa, but now i have given up oils and fats, this is brilliant. Cant wait to give my parents to try too and show them you dont need lots of ghee amd butter to make tasty recipes 😋
Watching you here on your channel is so motivating and has helped me feel normal adopting this new lifestyle. Thank you for sharing 😊 My question is: how was it living in India and Ethiopia? I'm curious about your experiences there.
Another great video. Love the Q&A. Here are a few questions: how did you and James meet? How did you introduce the changes to Whole Foods and no fat for your family? Were you the first in your family to convert to this way of eating? How have your friends that don’t eat this way reacted and are they still in your life? I’ll stop now😁😁😁
for the Q&A 1) Tips during a pregnancy to stay on plan - During pregnancy does the plate builder change? Personal Q that you don't have to answer but.. more kids in your future..? Love watching your videos!
Thankyou so much for all your amazing videos & recipe shares ❤ I love how you think outside the box & put together exciting healthy things for us to try. Watching your videos had become part of my daily routine, don't ever stop doing what you do ❤
Hi, I look forward to you the most out of all of my RU-vid subscriptions and am always disappointed if there isn’t a new video , but I get it 😝 I’d love to know what James does? Also would love to meet your mum properly and see how her health journey is going . Is there a specific reason she is doing raw? Also are you and your sister half sisters ? Thankyou , love your creativity and realness 😘😍
I like the ideas concerning volume eating. It's not easy being honest on hunger cues as it seems easy to overdo it with something with fat just to get that extra satiation.
I absolutely love your channel! Love ALL of your recipes and love your Indian recipes! I cannot wait for your Indian recipe ebook! Thank you so much for all you do on this channel! You're AWESOME!!!!!!! 🥰
Hey Ami! Just wanted to say I bought your first meal plan and I'm loving it!! Currently eating the brownie batter and fruit. 😋 looking forward to buying the others! Thank you for your commitment and work. It's greatly appreciated. ❤️
I love the Indian recipes! Can't wait for the cookbook!!! I have a suggestion... please make ingredient substitutions because some of the ingredients may be difficult to find. ❤
I asked before about you speaking to upcoming holiday season and compliant foods for celebrations. It occurs to me that growing up in India and Ethiopia and vegan, you probably don’t have the same “holiday” triggers as I do! But if you have any advice/recipes for eating well and still having a food-related special meal, I’d be interested for sure!
Hi Ami! Could you share the steps to instant pot chickpeas? How much water to how many beans and for how long? I like how you make a big batch and scoop out of it daily. Thanks!
I’m so glad I found you on Chef AJ’s show...your awesome🤙I’ve learned a lot about plant based and whole food food prep... I love your Choc pudding...I use carob and add sweet potatoes, call flower, cooked oat meal, garbanzo beans ,banana a few dates, cinnamon and plant based milk and blend...gave some to my granddaughter and she loved it!!!not telling her what’s in it🤣I tell her it’s my special pudding!!!thank you for coming up with the recipe❤️your so good with your kids...enjoy your show🌸
Hi Lisa. Hope yr well. Can you recall the weights of each of the ingredients you used for your pudding please? If it's not cheeky of me. It's ok if not. I invent recipes, but don't remember to weigh and write it down.. consequently it never tasted the same next time. Always chuffed if it's edible! 🙄😳😂 ( I'm a bit scatty🙈😄). Warm wishes. Lorraine
I’m from India and I love to see your spin on some recipes that I have had growing up. Would love to hear about your story and your weight loss journey.. also your tips for getting kids to try new foods
I have just discovered your channel & I am loving the spins you put on fruit & veg. Perhaps you cover this in other videos (I have so much content to catch up on), I would love to know your thoughts on alcohol, calorie counting and your history/favourite thing living in other countries. I look forward to your Q&A session
Question for Q and A: Can you tell us what is above your washing machine, in the cabinet? We see white, orange, and yellow circular shapes. When it’s in your background I always am wondering, is that the children’s artwork, is it containers inside the cabinet, or something else. Cannot ever come to a conclusion. Could you settle my curiosity debate? ☺️ Love how efficient everything is in your kitchen by the way!
How tall are you? How much do you weigh now? Were you always a volume eater? Could never eat the amounts you do so I'm always amazed when I see your plates. Love your channel. Get lots of creative ideas from you. 😀❤
McDougall says 50 percent starches are the minimum. And if your hungry a little while later you’re not eating enough starch and you need to eat MORE starches. Any thoughts on that.
Hi Ami - Love your videos - volume eating like Chef AJ- great interview by the way- and lovely getting to know your family. Two questions- 1. where do you buy your bulk chickpeas etc from ? 2. and just wondered what your husband does for a living? Oh and would love a tutorial on how to use the instant pot! I’ve had mine for 2 years and been too scared to use it!! Lol! Chickpeas are my favourite thing and would like to cook my own instead of buying tins all the time! Thx Penny !😊
Loving all these recipes!!! Indian is my favourite cuisine! My question...non foodie one...but...how do you get everything done?!! You achieve so much everyday....amazing mama, good food, exercise, work, running a house....what are your hot tips?? I feel like I would never sleep if tried to get all that done!!! 😂🌿💕
I personally can't bear Indian food. An aversion to cumin, creamy oily food and disliking the smell of basmati since childhood made sure of that. However, I'm still enjoying seeing you create interesting recipes, whatever they are. You're incredibly watchable and inspiring Ami :D
Thanks for sharing as always hun. I was going to ask if James went straight into being vegan. My brother is vegan now, but was vegetarian for a few years before. He was a meat eater before that. I ultimately want to be vegan but I’m nervous which sounds stupid. I eat meat presently but I don’t actually like it, for years I’ve felt uncomfortable but I go with the flow with family etc. I guess what it is hubby won’t ever go vegan so maybe I should just try gradually to cut meat etc to become vegetarian then go vegan. I’ll be very interested to hear your experience thoughts Amy. ❤❤❤❤xxxxxxx
Q&A: when you started this journey, did you follow the 50/50 plate or have you always preloaded with veggies followed by your starches? And, would you mind sharing the workout you’ve been doing - I need that arm workout in my life 😅 Love your channel and really enjoy the what you eat in a day videos showing how you put meals together.
Q&A…Can you tell us about your wedding ring… I always find when it’s not a traditional ring it always has such a sweet story or meaning behind it so I’m just curious if yours does I love it I always try to figure out what the stone is but it’s hard to tell ❤ 💍
Question-at what age did you start the ice cream business you sold? Where do you consider your creative cooking skills came from? Ami nothing against you & thank you James for suggesting answering questions!
Oh Ive tried that arm workout and its a killer. Still have not been able to do the whole 8min without stopping and dying on the floor haha. Love the Indian food. I would have to order the spices on Amazon as I can't get those special spices here in Panama SA where I live. Thanks for the recipes. Love to make the fudge
Hi Ami! I start the morning out really good eating the whole foods but by dinner I sometimes give in to cravings for processed foods that aren’t the healthiest. How to control the cravings? How did you overcome this? Love the channel. 👍
I just bought the cardamom powder on Amazon. I love all your content, whatever you decide to post. I hope you won’t mind this question. Your babies are protected from the outside World of animal farming and animal product eating at the moment. What do you think will happen in the future? Do they know why there are animals grazing in the fields?
What do you use to record your videos, phone, camera or a combo of both? What phone do you have and what app or program do you use to edit? How long does it take you to edit/splice your youtube videos? Enjoy you and your family so much.... thank you... I look forward to watching you on YTB and IG.
Q&A question: How do you ensure your growing babies get enough protein every day? I’m new to this way of eating and want to make sure I’m giving my son the protein he needs to keep growing. For example: in the subsequent video to this, Abe asked for a fruit platter, and you gave that to him with a cauliflower and potato soup. Would that be enough protein for dinner or did you give him something else? Thank you! ❤️
I love your bowls that you use for your cake in the microwave. What kind are they? Ceramic? What is the size- its hard to tell the actual size on video
Thank you, Ami, you are so inspirational. How often do you weigh yourself? Do you have fixed time when you stop eating in the evening or eat whenever you are hungry?
Question for Q and A. I would love to go plant based but I'm currently breastfeeding and baby has allergies for dairy, soya, eggs, coconut, oat, legumes and beans, and nuts so I'm lost on what I can use for proteins. Any advice please?
??? Hi,from SOUTH AFRICA❤Who cooked James's meat when you got married? And also,do you think you will be eating so much food when you are no long breastfeeding without gaining weight?
Hi, I wanna ask how have you been eating during pregnancy with Romi and also how you handle vegan diet of your kids, for eg when Abe wants to try sth non-vegan, do you allow him? Im asking as vegetarian mum ;)
