I realize that after I watched your new Starlink video!! I’d swear I saw it for sale online. Had the skylight, etc. BUT I’m glad you have your van and are still enjoying it!!! Any damn day now I will be mine on the road. Too many distractions. But I’m selling those off. Time to finish the SPrinter van!

I have been waiting for a vid like this I have a 1998 412d that's bullet proof but need to do rear brakes for mot test but wasn't sure how to do them until now so thanks for sharing ☺️

You made that look really easy, I have a single rear wheel axle and it took me AGES to get the springs on that bloody parking brake, it's great watching someone else working on a T1N, I love those old vans, hopefully now they are getting older they'll come more collectable,

Lol those springs were almost the death of me. Needle nose vice grips are the perfect tool!

@@madetoexplore I tried everything, I was at it for hours, I nearly removed my eye at one point, I hated it, a real pig of a job, Wait until you need to remove an injector or a glow plug there's plenty of fun ahead

Just bought a 2005 3500 (in the 140 WB)in a very similar condition about 100k miles, but a decent amount of rust inside on the floor. Have to tackle that now. Thanks so much for your content, its super helpful!

thanks for video its been so helpful to me ,i have a hymer motorhome with this exact running gear (dual rear wheels) and the hand brake has never given me confidence so new pads and shoes during lockdown

Does your van have sprint shift? Mine does and I have a feeling that it has some system that locks the brakes . I cannot turn the hub at all which make the whole job harder to remove the bolts.

No I don’t believe it does. Sorry I don’t know very much about the Sprintshift system.
