I heard Nigerians saying Ghana is abroad to Nigerians, but Ghanaians themselves would say that when you outside the boarders of Ghana, it considers abroad🇬🇭
@Sunnymedia

It’s about the currency 💴 because Nigerians doesn’t see Bennin republic as abroad because their money is not strong when it travels to Nigeria 🇳🇬 but when Ghana cedis travels to Nigeria chale it’ll accomplish a lot of things in Nigeria 🇳🇬

Exactly my agreement with Nigerians. Nigeria currency power remains only in Nigeria. When u bring 1 naira to Ghana it will buy nothing, whereas the cedis go to Nigeria, its buys alot. When Naira has to change alot of naira to buy just q dollar. Nigerians have decided to educate themselves. Cedis was on number 3 and now declined to 4, in africa. Whethere u accept or not, it still doesnot change the fact.

When Nigerian and a Ghanaian are given the same amount in Ghana to do business, to build house in the home country.The Nigeriaman would build two house out of it in Nigeria whereas the Ghanaian would be on one building. The reason is not that the Nija man knows how to do business than the Ghanaian but because. The Ghana would be building in cedis whereas when the Nigeria man change cedis into naira, he gets doubel of that of it because of the exchange rate. So he would build in naira. So he will get the change to finish his project before the Ghanaian man would. Cedis to cedis is not strong but cedis to naira is very steong, not only naira but other african currencies. Since the cedis is number 4 in africa. That is why many africans come to Ghana. So they struggle and send money home it makes alot.

Good evening, sunny" I've lived in America before, in America when you go to a bar or a cafeteria to buy only a caffe and a muffin or 2 brioche,you will spend not less than $10.00 just for your.breakfast, only in the morning, but the same $10.00 when you change it into naira most probably you may spend it with your wife and 2 children for almost 2weeks,& that is if you should spend it wisely, so any currency in it's own.country is not so much valued by the indigenes or citizens, & so the Ghanaian cedi" is not exceptional thanks.

@idongisaac8258
@idongisaac8258 Месяц назад
While you may be pleased about this "perceived" higher value of the Cedis to the Naira, there are implications for the Ghanaian economy. Goods from that country will be very expensive and less competitive in Nigeria. It is not a gain to Ghana but to Nigeria. The Nigerian government devalues its currency to reduce its volume of imports, and the demand for forex in a way.
@Sunnymedia

@@ivybannerman-wood453 The Ghanaian economy is also facing its headwinds. Research the Ghanaian debt profile. I, however, do not imply that the Nigerian government is doing well for its citizens.
@ivybannerman-wood453
@ivybannerman-wood453 28 дней назад
@idongisaac8258 Mr Isaac, you see Ghana's debt profile is proportional to investments made in Ghana by way of free education, health care, and tertiary education. Ghana is training essential public servants like nurses and teaches to export. Senior schools are free, and tertiary education is mainly state funded with good standards. So, in a few years, Ghana can service its debt, not now. Ghana's most recent IMF loan to Ghana was for investments and upgrades. Nigeria has more natural and human resources than Ghana, Nigeria is a federal government, and although very big, FG can decentralise and allocate funds for state governors to manage their own affair, which is easier and effect to manage. Why should hunger push a country like Nigeria to go on demonstration due to hunger. It's just not right.
@idongisaac8258
@idongisaac8258 27 дней назад
@@ivybannerman-wood453 Even bigger countries like China and India go on demonstration. UK is now on demonstration, against their own form of bad governance. There is hunger, drug abuse, and homelessness on the streets of the USA: Just google it. The Ghanaian government is as corrupt as others in Africa. What investment did they borrow money for? Was it to build factories? They borrowed money to build a church and a stadium, just as they do in Nigeria! In 2023, Ghana recorded 73.11% pass in WAEC, and Nigeria recorded 76. 36% pass in the same exam. Where did the investment in education go to?

Purchasing power Naira is better...
@Sunnymedia
@Sunnymedia Месяц назад
Explain how pls🤔🤔 will you say the same thing when it comes to dollar 💵 or Euro 💶?
@KK-if3un
@KK-if3un Месяц назад
It’s better for Nigerians living and working in Nigeria. Not for us Ghanaians because if I work in Nigeria and am paid minimum wage how can I do any investments in Ghana 🇬🇭. That’s why Nigerians come to Ghana, as Ghanaians go America and so on. Cedi has even better purchasing power than naira in Nigeria. We aren’t from there so the naira isn’t of any value to us.
@future--tv
@future--tv Месяц назад
Ghana currency is powerful than naira, 1 dollar is 15 cids why 1 dollar is 1,600 naira
@Sunnymedia
@Sunnymedia Месяц назад
It’s not actually about that but it’s actually about what it can buy in Nigeria 🇳🇬 for using both currency to purchase a dollar it’s almost the same thing: 1,600 is also same as 16 cedis. So it means that if one dollar is 15 cedis in Ghana then same one dollar is 16 cedis in Nigeria 🇳🇬 no much difference. But what I’m talking in this video is that cedis has more purchasing power when it travels to Nigeria 🇳🇬 I don’t know if you understands what I’m trying to explain 🙄

@@Sunnymedia let’s make this comparison of the Cedi and Naira on the level of the amount and not the exchange rate. I can buy food with GHS10 here in Ghana, can NGN10 buy you food in Nigeria? Let’s make the comparison from this level so that you understand that without the exchange rate, your currency is nothing. Tell your government to wake up and add value to the Naira so that you can buy food at 10 Naira and stop the argument of your goods are cheap because of exchange rate. Things are hard in Ghana here but it is still better because I can eat with 10 cedis but a Nigerian in Nigeria cannot buy food with 10 naira. Think about this. I don’t think living in Nigeria is that cheap in terms of cost of living looking at your country’s inflation as it stands at 34% now. Ghana has not say Ghana is abroad to Nigerians. It is Nigerians who are saying so. Maybe you are afraid of your people that is why you are saying Ghanaians are saying Ghana is abroad to Nigerians.
@Southernview3k
@Southernview3k Месяц назад
@@Sunnymedia Cedis doesn't have more purchasing power my dear. 1 cedis is about 10,000 in real value. So, the 16 cedis is equivalent to 160,000 cedis in actual value.
@Southernview3k
@Southernview3k Месяц назад
@@KwekuSintim The actual value of 10 cedis is 100,000 Gh¢. Cedis was devalued. That's , 4 zeros were removed. Naira still has more value than cedis.
