Dave Filoni confirmed Ahsoka is alive in rise of skywalker so maybe Ezra, Sabine, Rex and the ghost crew are as well, I heard Ahsokas species could live up to 200 years. Maybe with her powers from the daughter she probably could still look the same as she did at the end of rebels, it’s possible

I have a feeling that there will eventually be a third companion in Sabine and Ahsoka's search for Ezra: Luke Skywalker. I think this new series will bridge the gap between Return of The Jedi and The Force Awakens and will show us the foundation of Luke's new Jedi Academy. The first season will be about the hunt for Ezra and the later seasons will show us Luke building up the new Jedi Order, training his padawans, show its destruction at the hands of Ben Solo, and possibly give us more information on The Knights of Ren and Supreme Leader Snoke.

I'd like another show taking place between the original trilogy and Sequel trilogy. Kinda like Rebels was between the Prequels and Originals. It could take place 15 years after Return of the Jedi. Characters can be older Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, the droids, Lando Ahsoka, Ezra, Sabine, Herra and Jacen. It be about both how the new republic is doing and how the first order began. And Luke, Ahsoka and Ezra train Jedi. Ahsoka would be In her 50's at the time. And Luke and ezra would be in their 30's. Ben Solo. would be a young teenager and the show would basically show how Ben turned to the dark side, how Snoke rose to power. And we could meet other characters like Zeb, Callus, a young Poe. I'd see it going to about 5 years before force awakens. And we'd find out what happened to Ahsoka and the others.

I thought rebels was pretty alright, i wish there were more lightsaber duels but whatever i get it. The ending was amazing. But can we all agree that star wars resistance is a piece of crap

What sucks is that he didn't get much screen time in clone wars and rebels together. He appeared in the Lost Commanders arc and the D-Squad arc.

But theres only max 1yr between ESB and ROTJ, Han gets taken and Chewie and Lando INSTANTLY go to Tattooine and go undercover. It'd be pretty selfish if Luke was like "yh Hans great n all but lemme just practice being a Jedi before saving him"

Look of the Challenger, it was a space shuttle that got damaged while re-entering Earth's atmosphere. The paneling was damaged and the friction and heat at that speed got under it and ripped the shuttle apart, killing everyone on board. Now imagine that you're going a billion times faster, and have a gaping hole in the front of the ship, and you're *standing* in that hole. That ship would even be able to leave the atmosphere in one piece, much less enter another. They're dead. So dead.

It is likely, Star Wars Resistance was registered as a trademark for many things including kids stuff. Would make sense if this was the new animated series.

I’ve always wanted to see mandalorian jedi in the future. The time would be difficult to determine. We can assume the last scene takes place in 6ABY or around it since the war is officially over but how many years the show covers will be kind of long and needs a lot of explaining

I would really like it if we would get a series like Clone Wars for this time period with each arc taking place in a new location and with different characters. In one arc you may see Luke with his students and the next arc you see Sabine and Ahsoka looking for Ezra.

It would be irrelevant given how unceremoniously he was killed off in TLJ. I'd be more interested in Thrawn coming back and reviving the Empire through the First Order in a similar arc to his Legends counterpart, now that Snoke is out of the picture.

Ezra and Thrawn are most likely far in the Unknown Regions. Wherever they are, nobody’s heard from either of them, at least until The Force Awakens. This was Filoni’s way of removing Ezra (a Jedi) from Rouge One onwards without actually killing him off. They couldn’t have a Jedi with the rebellion by A New Hope, otherwise they could have trained Luke.

That would make a great series- Luke’s Jedi training and the adventures he had between ESB and ROTJ. Having Mark Hamill do the voice work would be the icing on the cake.

Luke or any other main character that appears in the Star Wars movies will be in the Star Wars Rebels (or any other Star Wars cartoons) in any big way, e.g. playing as the main character or getting injured/changed in a big, lore defying way! The reason being is because (as far as I have seen) every Star Wars show, movie, cartoon, book and even LEGO shows (e.g. droid tales) are all connected one way or an other!!!!!

Both TFA and TLJ were filled to the brim with plot holes. Even Rogue One, a movie based solely around "fixing" an alleged plot hole in ANH, ended up creating larger and more numerous plot holes for the saga. Anyways, I would say that there's always room for Ashoka in any new series. She's simply a very good character, but Ezra? Ezra has a unique power that is so dangerous, it can destroy any animated series. This power can instantly destroy: tension, suspense, gravitas, sympathy, endearment, investment, and a dozen other emotions coming from any given scene. They would do well to make sure Ezra is not found.

Thrawn isnt a bad person in some ways. he only joined the Eempire beczause his people, the Chiss, thought there was this really strong power in the unknown regions that threatened them (maybe snoke or the yuuzhan vong). So he needed an ally that can protect his people. And since the Chiss live in the unkown regions, maybe the Purgill brought Ezra and Thrawn there.

I totally agree with you. I thought that the threat in the unknown regions could be Snoke. Would tie in the aftermath series, the new trilogy, and rebels (original trilogy series) together. I am very glad they did not kill Thrawn. He is such an amazing character and a great villain because he has a good reason to do what he does. He's not just killing or joining the empire because he seeks his own power.

Clones do not have extended life spans and in fact age rapidly especially after 10 - 15 years. It took around 10 years to grow a clone in fact Rex is younger than Ahsoka Tano.

The only clone that has a normal life cycle is Boba fett, because Jango Fett wanted a clone son in return for using his DNA under the condition it doesn't have the age acceleration.

I was very happy to see & hear that Ahsoka and Ezra lived. I like how Dave Filoni and the team found a pilot that didn’t just let them die but still left Yoda’s quote that Luke was the last of the Jedi true.

I wish they would've killed Ahsoka off when she fought Vader. Everyone loved her and all, but her being killed by her master is something that should've happened.

Ahsoka was trapped in that time portal void, after Ezra saved her from Vader. I see no reason she couldn't jump back out of the void back into the timeline and save herself. Ezra says something like "if you get out of here, come and find me". I guess she got out.........and went to look for him with Sabine.

all clones were genatically modified to age twice as fast so to not waste any time growing them and the chip was so that the sith could control the clones when they needed to enact order 66. i took a look at the wiki and it seems Rex joined phoenix squadron in 4BBY. so he was likely somewhere between 60-80 years old physically at the time(since they started growing clones around 40 BBY). he wouldn't have had much longer to live after his participation in the battle of Endor.

I hope that if Filoni decides to do anything else, he will massively rewamp the writing dapartment (maybe bring back Lucas). He ruined the rebel alliance, I don't want him to ruin the Resistance

Mike983210 seriously! He did a great job of bringing an old story to a new generation. Great story line that brought us new characters that tied in perfectly with old and new stuff. As someone who became a fan after the phantom menace, i find the rebels story perfect making me actually a care about rogue one and a new hope. All the 'original' fans hate everything new even though they bring a new generation, new fans and keep star wars alive.

What I don't get is why Jacen looked almost completely Human when the other Human Twi'lek Hybrids we've seen in the past shared traits from both species.

Well the comics have explored the time between episodes 4 and 5 since 2014 and are still going so that story is kinda already told

They would never make it. It is because they already have a series based on that premise. It's called Marvel's current Star Wars comic series. It is good too. It's a lot better than they'll ever make for a tv series. The comic is not bogged down by children's programming censorship. That is why the Star Wars tv series is not good like it could be. Star Wars is not suited or made to be a kid show. It's a in betweener like the Simpsons. It has stuff that is too adult to be aired on a children's network, but considered very tame for a adult network standards (What it does have is good enough too attract children and adults to watch it together.) They need to move it out of that kid show format and find a place where it can full fill its normal niche. The problem is what network will have it on? Disney doesn't have any networks that would offer what it is needed (The only type of network that would allow more freedom to be it's normal self is a adult network.). They are all kid networks. I am not sure if they'll allow another network to air this betweener show either. They might not want their competitors to have any ownership of the Star Wars franchise. If you want a good show for Star Wars... it's likely we won't have one since it is still stuck under the Disney limbo of wanting to keep it within the kid show influence.
