hey ik u used to have a crf150f, i just bought the exact same one about a week ago and it had a ticking noise, atm when i start it i can hear the tick and then if i rev it it turns way worse like knocking. just wondering if u had that issue when u had ur 150 and if u knew whats wrong with it
I honestly have no idea, at least check if the rings are seated correctly, head gasket is on, torqued to SPEC, check any areas where it could jam potentially, is it being installed just like in the video too ?
@@BHMotocould it be because it’s on the wrong stroke how did you tell when you was back on the compression stroke after testing the new piston in the cylinder?
You have to line up the crankshaft timing bolt with the piston on the compression stroke, there should be a oil cover that you take off on the right of the motor, in there is a bolt with a dot make sure it lines up with the arrow on the outside with piston at tdc as well
@@BHMoto yeah that’s what I’ve done mate everything’s lined up I found out the piston I’ve put in is protruding above the block therefore it’s pushing it down when I tighten the cylinder head on and making that stiffness will have to order a oem one I think
