Twenty-two families from across Illinois attended the 2023 Institute for Parents of Preschool Children Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. This free program took place June 11-16 on the Illinois School for the Deaf campus in Jacksonville.
The Institute provides valuable education and connection for Illinois parents of children from birth to age 7 who have a significant hearing loss. UIC’s Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) supports the Institute along with other sponsors.
