Just to be clear this is just for fun, there is no replacement for the original cast. The next couple of videos up are Phase 2 + 3 and a villains one but who else should I not miss?
this isn't really avengers but maybe you do recasting the defenders and villains (assuming kingpin and daredevil were being recast as well which obviously isn't happening)
It's be really interesting to see your take on avengers that hasn't been shown in live action, such as Wonder Man. I'd also like to see actual Romani/Jewish actors for the Maximoff twins as well imo.
I'd say mainly Villains since they need a recast/ fixing. I think Stain, Ultron, Yellow Jacket, Ronin the Accuser, Ghost, and Whiplash are the ones I want recasted the most.
True, I hate most fancasts because they always choose the most famous possible actor that LOOKS the part the most. Doesn't consider movie budgets and how all those mega popular actors are gonna be extremely expensive, and also doesn't consider actor chemistry and if those actors would even portray the character well. This was a good one indeed
most of the fan casts would completley suck, i would rather have famous actors play side characters just for sponser, and have a non famous actor play the main character... famous actors already have a ton of artistic mentalities and they are famous because of a reason, and they cannot give up that fame for another fame, instead, they can keep their fame, and use it to create a better inaccurate side character by improvising their own script, but the new non famous actors know there is a reputation to gain, and it falls to them to make the movie better, thats why they adopt the character accurately and as best as they can, and taht is exactly what makes a great cast... btw just wait and see how uncharted movie will flop, maybe it won't be that bad but it won't live up to games, that casting is just wrong
This is one of the only Avengers fancasts that's almost as good as the actual cast. My only problem is that Timothy Olyphant might be a bit too old to play the role for several years.
@@osmanyousif7849 whaaat? how is he 73?? my grandma is 71 and died a month ago but she looks old lmao very different to sam, I thought he was just still 55-60... he has a fountain of youth
I honestly didn't think you could convince me with a new iron man casting but Holy crap you NAILED IT. And Hugh Dancy as Bruce banner? Spot on!! You should do this professionally.
A cool idea (to me at least) is to make the DCEU but following the blueprint of the MCU. This has been done but your video would be more about whos being casted for the heros and villains you choose for each movie. You could go from phase to phase per video.
Your choices for Cap and Widow were brilliant. I would want to wait ~10 years before this actually happened but if it did happen today, this is how it should look.
Hugh Dancy and Timothy Olyphant are ABSOLUTELY INSPIRED CHOICES. I had no idea where you were going when you went all original and as usual you didn’t disappoint. Stoked to see your phases 2-3 onward choices!!!
Forsure RDJ is a legend especially because of the iron man performances. However Timothy is actually a great choice. Maybe for like a multiverse iron man cameo or something like secret wars they could explore that.
I almost jumped from my seat when you said Hugh Dancy. I've always said he would make an incredible Bruce Banner, especially after seeing his role in Hannibal.
Great choices for all six! I actually preferred Norton over Ruffalo as Banner, but probably more to do with how Norton's was learning martial arts and running to control his transforming and Ruffalo's never further explored that. Again, your choices were great!
Can you recast “The Incredible Hulk” I’ll like to see who you choose for (more specifically) the main characters like: Betty Ross, Samuel Sterns, Leonard Samson, Thaddeus Ross, and Emil Blonsky. Also if want tackle their minor characters like: Kathleen Sparr, General Joe Greller, and Stanley Lieber.
Really like your suggestions. I’d suggest Sasha Luss as Black Widow. Sasha was in the 2019 Luc Besson film Anna where she played an assassin. She was great in it.
I personally always wanted Oded Fehr as either Tony Stark or Stephen Strange Also Wilson Bethel as Steve Rogers would have been a fascinating what if scenario given how close he came down to the wire for the role
For an more comic book accurate Hawkeye, Sam Worthington could play him. In the comics, he needs to be brash and arrogant. He needs to have an skinny body physique and blonde hair. Clint Barton could be explored more as an villain turned anti-hero. If they’re is reboot for the mcu in the future, they could show more the hero characters have different motivations. Some heroes do it for justice, some do it for revenge, etc.
What a great cast! Hawkeye, Cap, Thor and BW have already been questionably replaced, However I don’t know what his name is but the guy from this is us…Justin something…I think he would be an amazing Cap.
Alexander Skarsgård was on the shortlist of casting choices for Thor, and was said to be close to getting the role. Heck, he's basically a straight-up Viking. If you've seen the trailer for The Northman, then it should be clear that no one should play Thor in an Avengers reboot than him.
He was who I wanted for that role. I did not know he was ever considered. Someone from that part of the world, instead of an aussie putting on an english accent playing a norse god. Having everyone, from ancient romans and egyptians speaking in english accents is to me the most tired hollywood trope of them all. It would have been great if thor had actually sounded norse, instead of sounding like a buckingham palace reject.
Watching the video I'd thought Thor if recast they could ve really lean with a scandanavian actor similar to casting a native speaking Russian in black widow it would give the character more nuance in a way also hearing Thor speaking Norse would be cool to see also keep in my the ultimate marvel version of Thor was in fact a amnesiac scandanavian nurse who got sent into an assylum for believing he was Thor
@@ricardoramos1059 widow's accent is irrelevant, or you could have have her speak in different accents to fit the moment. Depending on who is writing she speaks english with an american accent. I don't remember which writer said it but she speaks 8 odd different languages and speaks english, french and chinese with no accent at all.
@@ricardoramos1059 the only problem i have with that is that they arent _actually_ gods. theyre aliens. i highly doubt they would have stuck around the humans for long enough to pick up the accent and keep it for thousands of years. that being said, they also would not sound european. if you want realism, they would not have any earthly accent, nor would they even speak english as their first language.
In the reboot, The new version of Captain America will have more Perseverance, Humility, Spirit, Courage and Empathy. Kind of like EMH Captain America.
You did a great job in the casting, however is it just me or does it just look wrong to see other actors playing these characters? I guess that goes to show how great the original cast was/is.
Emily Blunt was actually the first choice for the rule but couldn’t commit due to scheduling conflicts therefore they went with their backup which was Scarjo
I’d love to see you do Guardians of the Galaxy!! Is it just me, or I always thought Bill Hader would make an amazing Rocket Raccoon. Him in Barry is why I would choose him, his comedy, as well as emotional complexity to make him amazing
Bruce banner is an amazing character with such character depth to him. It’s basically the whole Mr. Hyde and The Jackal. He’s an scientist turned to a Horror Monster. The hulk is a like unstoppable monster that can’t be stopped. His has an fascinating lore that should be explored more. Exploring characters like Rick Jones, Betty Ross, Thunderbolt Ross, Doc Samson, Devil Hulk, The Leader, etc.
Wow... you did what I thought would be nigh impossible. It would have been tough, I thought, to successfully recast at least the main three since those actors and their characters are intertwined so closely but I not only not hate your choices, I think they're pretty good! Cap, I thought, would the the hardest because I always say that playing a nice guy is harder than a jerk and be liked. But when you showed that scene from Hidden Figures, I was immediately sold. When you said Timothy Olyphant, I was like naaah...then you reminded me about that episode and I went, oh yeah and now I totally see it. So good job on this. I know why you didn't cast him (he's too well known) but it would have been awesome to see Alexander Skarsgaard as Thor.
Ok if it’s a reboot, then it’s ok if we use the original team. (Long Writing Incoming) Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyme we’re the original members of the avengers that were replaced by Black Widow and Hawkeye in the movies. In the comics hank Pym actually created Ultron and that affected both his character as well as his psyche. He became the anti hero Yellow Jacket. He also abused his wife Janet aka the wasp. Hank Pym is one of the most complex characters of all of marvel. Janet Van Dyme is the heart of the avengers. She created and inspired them. She was actually supposed to replaced black widow in the first avengers movie. Without her, they wouldn’t exist.
I've just finished Top Gun Maverick and remembered that you cast Glen Powell for Captain America. His performance in Top Gun also shows that this casting is so on point.
Iron man is pretty accurate but for this reboot, we’re to need to make him more sophisticated and suave. Tony stark is a white knight similar to Christian Bale’s version of Batman. What we got from the MCU was Tony stark from the Ultimate Comics.
I can't believe I'm saying this but this Fancasting was perfect. I hate to admit but they were allowed good choices. Oh and p.s I really wish it was Hugh Dancy that played the Hulk in the MCU in the Beginning. And I mean in his solo Movie. Don't get me wrong Mark Ruffalo does a good job as the Hulk, but if you guys haven't noticed Ruffalo is getting older plus he even looks older. Have you seen his hair turning grey. That's why I wish it was Hugh Dancy
You always do your homework, I agree with your picks.. I especially like Cap's, I actually said he reminded me of Steve when I watched Hidden Figures *chefs kiss*
Brohhhh I never ever thought you could convince me in Tony Stark. I mean RDJ is a legend!! But damn your castijg was perfect. He really gives a natural Tony Stark vibes. Loved it!! Also I love youe black widow and Hulk cast. They totally seem to suit the part esp black widow. She actually carries not just mystery but an intimidating aura that comes with being an assassin. Totally nailed it
Love these picks- In a few years or so I wouldn’t mind seeing the “Ultimate Universe” Avengers with a New Cast- where the characters are slightly different in background.
Wow, I've been sleeping on your channel, but this video reminded me how good you are at this. You found probably the only person who could play Tony Stark as well as, but in a different way from, RDJ
Thor needs to be more of Shakespearean warrior God who cares about his friends. This time, he must not be a joke. He must be one of the most Strongest Avengers right next to The Hulk. Thor has to be Masculine as well. Asgard should also be more explored more like an lord of the rings world style. Look back at the past of how Asgard Took Control over the 9 realms.
I can think of three people who would be fitting as Fury, Hill, and Coulson, and those people are Louis Gossett Jr., Serinda Swan, and Billy Zane. Louis Gossett Jr. as Nick Fury, Serinda Swan as Maria Hill, and Billy Zane as Phil Coulson
My Recasting For The True Avengers: Giant man/Simon Baker The Wasp/Alyssa Milano Iron Man/Jon Hamm Thor/Alexander Skarsgard Bruce Banner/Daniel Crudup Captain America/Jensen Ackles
For Black Widow, have her be more of an spy. Have her be more of an double agent. We don’t know if could turn traitor or be an ally to anyone. So would be nice if Natasha Romanoff be looked as an villain first and dosen’t become an avenger until phase 3.
Ikr, I feel like people pretend they've actually read comics about Captain America to go as far as say he was not that good in the comics when he is literally way better than the MCU version.
He was great, these people just read some X-Men comics or Fantastic Four comics where he probably made a cameo and they were like "oh, he's bland", it's apparent how much people do not know how good of a character Captain America used to be in the comics.
I was hoping for more tbh. Anyone who’s looked for avengers fancasting before has seen most of these choices before. Especially Olyphant, Holbrook, and Dancy.
