Answer: move away from San Diego, but that would mean you're going to have to separate from your drug connections...oh, right, that's not going to happen

Sadly, nowadays street homeless are drugs addicts, and they are addicted to cocktail of nasty chemicals such as fentanyl, horse tranquilizer, elephant tranquilizer, sedative benzo, rat poison, nitazenes chemicals, P2P based meth, wasp dope, and other nasty stuff. That is in the pills they smoke all day long. They are quickly damaged mentally and physically beyond the point of repair. If they are aggressive, screaming, talking gibberish, talking to imaginary people, they are on meth and wasp dope. One dosage of P2P based meth causes paranoia and schizophrenia after only one dosage. Street addicts gradually destroy everything.

Answer: Homeless people don’t have the money to move. Even if they want better for themselves it’s often hard because homeless people don’t have cell phones or an address. For these reasons and many more drugs function as an escape mentally. Maybe consider the bigger picture before you spew assumptions

If someone is willing to sleep in the streets rather than leaving the state for a more affordable area. You really can't help them by giving them cheap housing. They have mental issues and drug problems. No normal functioning person would sleep outside instead of moving out of state.
@libert11347
@libert11347 Год назад
Many are from other states. Lack of affordable housing is not the main cause for homelessness.

If they can afford houses here what makes you think they can move to another state?

First, you have to get the numbers right. There are way more homeless than that in downtown San Diego.

Whenever you see a homeless encampment be sure to thank a “homeless advocate” as they are 100% responsible for this disaster. It is because of their countless lawsuits that we now have court rulings that provide blanket immunity from prosecution for just about any crime a wretched, violent, larcenous, druggie “unhoused” person may commit as they destroy communities up and down the West Coast with impunity.

Here is a thought, if an individual, cant afford “the San Diego lifestyle” , let them move to another state, where they CAN “afford their lifestyle”. I fail to see how this is anyones else’s problem. These people are criminals, and should be treated like criminals. The CHOSE to stay on San Diego streets, rather then move somewhere they can afford housing. They are STEALING quality of life, from each and every one of us, who WORK HARD to live in, and stay in San Diego. Not to mention VAGRANCY, SQUATTING, PANHANDLING, TRESPASSING and LOITERING are all in fact CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES, punishable by jail time. Why do we turn a blind eye, to people who would rather engage in dangerous, and unlawful criminal activity, rather then address this for what it is, a CRIMINAL JUSTICE issue, and prosecute these people, instead of codling them, and making excuses for them? When the state and county enable criminal behavior, how and why, would we ever expect it to end?

It has very little to do with housing costs. Most can't pick themselves off the sidewalk and most can't drop their choices of drugs. Finally people (not elected officials) are realizing the common denominator is drugs
