Today we are recreating a Buchla 208 Music Easel with the ‪@Endorphines‬ Shuttle System and with help of the internal generators of the Shuttle Control and ‪@Ableton‬ Live & M4L (Sting! M4L sequencer by ‪@iftahbox‬):

Shuttle Control can produce multiple types of random, different types of envelopes, which are also sensitive to velocity. Additionally you can gain control over internal generators using MIDI CC messages coming from any type of controller.
Finding a balance between chaos and control inspired by ‪@vgermuse‬ sound design explorations.

Great explanation on features of the SC I was struggling with. Could you expand on the probabilty distribution bit ? What does it mean when CC#13 is low / high?

Thank you Pierre. The distribution means the higher the value, the higher probability of random values appeared in higher values and vice versa.

@@Endorphines Got it, Thanks, that's gonna change the way I patched things up a bit ! What about sync random trigger / gates / pulses though ? Low CC 13 value will simply reduce the probability of appearing at a specific time increment, am I right ?

Thank you for this fantastic overview. The shuttle control really packs a punch. I'm wondering if you need an external midi clock to keep it running and make use of the random generators? Is there some sort of internal clock option if you run it stand alone?
