RECREATIONAL PILOT CERTIFICATE: Flying Lesson #17 - 2nd Area Solo
While the weather is good, it makes sense to build up even more solo time. So today, I plan to fly a couple of circuits and then depart for a quick flight up the beautiful north coast of Wollongong. We can't fly too far north though, otherwise we'll enter Sydney airport controlled airspace.
Lets go flying....
ABOUT ME:
I'm a student pilot learning to fly in my spare time. I originally received 30 hours of flying instruction 17 years ago and now I'm back in the cockpit and learning how to fly all over again.

Hey you should have kept going north and done the harbour scenic, haha. Just wondering when you get your certificate and begin cross country can you combine that with a CTR and CTA endorsement ?? Would love to see some new content in the future, thanks

Having just gone solo recently in a Tecnam P92 it feels good doing any kinda flying by ya self even if it just circuits

Hey mate, great video again. I've also have a suggestion about your line up checks, do you think completing them before entering the runway would be better as it would allow you to start rolling quicker?

Any tips with dealing with the mental asset of Solos? Every time I think of solo I think, Gonna crash, Gonna crash this'll be bad. So much power in my hands it's not ending well... Also, Do you ever get the feeling in the Jab that when you just lift off your seat drops?

What model Jab are you flying here? I see you're mainly cruising around 90kts whereas in others I think you've been as high as 100? Interested to know what the cruise is of the model you're flying.
