BB Jonas you're welcome, I've been searching for videos on how it's done but I think I'll need ask my massage therapist if she does that kind of abdominal massage. Kind of hoping she does because it would give my quads a break, hate getting them massaged! 😭😭😭

BB Jonas there is some tutorials on here so I might give it a go with some almond oil and a couple drops of geranium or clary sage, both good for female hormones xx

What stage would a rectocele be if I’m having bowel incontinence?

I have a vaginal prolapse with mild rectocele..I'm 32 and have 3 kids (age 12,9,5)I have a couple of questions.1. If I were to get pregnant again would it worsen the prolapses?2. I use a diva cup for my period.. can that make the prolapse worse??3. I live on a farm,. I milk goats, I haul hay bales and my oldest child is in a wheelchair and I lift her a lot.. is this lifting making it worse????

See a doctor and physical therapist (pelvic floor specialist). Dr. Bri has a video on 'periods' including her personal experience and opinion of Diva cups and prolapse.

Yes lifting can make prolaspe worse. I recommend going to a pelvic floor Therapist. She can assess you. You should get fitted for a pessary at your local urogynaecologist. A pessary will help support your organs while you are working on the farm and taking care of your disabled daughter.

@@Psalm13924 my Urogynecologist Dr. said a pessary wouldnt help with my mild rectocele prolapse. Feel down..there has to be something I can use to help support it

Stacey Babic There is. Look in the groups. Some women use cube pessary or sponge or inflatable pessary for rectocele.

I just got diagnosed with mild rectocele and my Urogynecologist said a pessery wouldnt help :/ is that true and what kind would help?

Does the pessary work to help strengthen the pelvic muscles or does it just keep organs in proper place?

Pessaries provide support for the organs it does not strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. For that you will need to do pelvic floor exercises. I recommend you go to a Pelvic floor Therapist.
