Mine is pretty similar to this one. Red, four door. Also black around the doors. Mine has fog lights, LED DRLs and active front lighting. Leather steering wheel with hand stitched finishes. Mine has decent bolstered front seats but in cloth finish. I also have the FlexRide suspension system. I actually had the GTC entry spec J, and I think my "Enjoy Plus" model is faster than my (better looking) GTC... Love my car though, but I understand its faults. Just about to do a crankcase seal replacement on mine...small leak... A few design faults, but overall I really have had a good experience with this car. Agree with you in its amazing handling capabilities. Fuel RIDICULOUSLY expensive here too ... Cheers man.

I got an active in grey. Active is not too featurefull. Boring but works. Mine has only ever had coolant problems. Watch out for that little coolant overflow hose coming out of the bottle. My plastic coupling burst and dumped all my coolant out. Mines a 1.4 NA and sounds like shit

Ah yea the cooling system is the main fault (in my experience). The components are just made of plastic, and this engine is designed to run hot (in order for lower emissions numbers). My one has eaten three thermostat units, one water pump, one water distribution housing (gearbox side) a coolant temperature sensor (gearbox side) two expansion tanks, one expansion tank feeder pipe and an upper radiator hose. However... The car is a 2010 model and has done 140000km. It's been pretty reliable otherwise, and the repairs (beside the water pump) are actually very easy to do yourself. The crankcase seal I mentioned in an earlier post apparently have a working life expectancy of around 10 years, so yea. Well within spec... All cars are made of plastic these days, so it's not just an Astra thing. Cheers, Enjoy your Astra !
