The problem with this Red Hood is that they made him to confused and indecisive not to mention his lackluster reason for becoming Red Hood on top of that he kills innocent people all of these are basically the opposite traits of who Red Hood is supposed to be
Don't forget they made Jason an addict, anyone who knows anything about Jason should know how he feels about substance abuse, and yes he did take venom out of desperation
I don’t have a problem with that, Red Hood in Batman under the red hood didn’t have a particularly manly voice, but his actions and mannerisms denoted he meant business, he was there to do what Batman would not, end of discussion. Here on the other hand….

From what I'm seeing just from this they only brought him into the show because they wanted a very popular character. That's it. I don't think I'll watch season 3 if they waste my boy Todd.

Also I hate how they made batman old and how dick doesn't care about secret identities or keeping the batcave secret. They need to work on their writing or just restart everything. It does not feel like the titans at all
The writers are awful on this goddamn show which is such a shame because they have an incredibly talented cast. If it wasn't for them, I would've abandoned this show a couple episodes in back in S1.

@@redhood7524 yeah, but making references to great adaptations/comic books is not great writing, it's just an excuse for fan-service that would actually fit perfectly if the rest of your script was as good and respected the work you're referencing, take for example BvS: you see a ton of references to DKR but the actual context has little to do with the comic and it's just there to make it seem like it knows the original material when it clearly doesn't (no offense to Zack Snyder, but the guy genuinely thought Frank Miller's batman killed, when in fact if you read the DKR and watch the animated adaptation you'll find out that he only brutalizes his enemies, but still has a strict code against killing)

This show was a bomb and the character destruction is incredibly. Any way you look at it, this show sucks. It’s as cheap as the costumes they made for it…
the actor is too young. he looks cool when u can only see his mask, but he has the body of a 15 yr old and the face of a 13 yr old. Hes too small and young to bed red hood, whos supposed to be basically as big as batman.

It is true but at first it was well written, although his death was a bit weak and if he returned to be the henchman of the frightful it was the only thing that failed in him.
He was dead for like a week, and it took him a month to become Redhood. He really couldn’t have learned a lot more than he didn’t know as Robin. Besides the obvious plot device his Marksman ship skills are

After he got revived, it took him 5 years to become Redhood, during that time he was trained by the League of Assassins. And he probably got really good with guns. I refuse to believe that Jason got that good with guns in just a month gap in the show
Fun fact: each of the robins are said to have a personal fighting style that reflects there personality. Nightwing: freestyle, off the cuff kind of fighting and a lot more acrobatic. Redhood: extremely brutal and barbaric almost. Red Robin: calculated and planned. Damian: assassin executioner kind of fighting.
I think physicall yes but in mastering weapons thats Damián and in intelegence is Tim Drake so it doesnt matter how strong he is doesnt matter if he is not Smart or capable to win against other Robins (oh yeah i forget what makes dick better that Jason sorry for not including him)

Jason is cut throat, powerfully built, stubborn, insanely accurate as a marksman, and will do just about anything to achieve his goal. (Dude litetally gets bodied by metahumans on the refular and just kinda shakes off his broken ribs) Tim is smart, like, really smart. He has a photographic memory, is analytically astute and can take in data and information in almost and instant even when distracted. Hes made most of his gadgets, solved just about every case he was presented with and was also one of the only people to discover batmans identity from just a few points of info present to him. Hes a perfect detective just like batman. Damien is a formerly trained assassin. Hes gone through rigorous training to master wraponry, stealth and even controlling his mind and body to persevere through obstacles infront of him. Despite being immature, brash, and jaded as all hell he still is tactfully minded, smart, and relies on instinct to get the job done as quickly and effectively as possible. Thats the jist of what i undetstand the diffetences between the 4

Adding to the roster is his father, who was a handsy-drunk goon for Two-Face and Bruce, who later became Jason’s adopted father let him down. Not to mention Dick let him down too.
Red Hood has a problem with killing people. He hates killing, but he feels it's necessary with some people, people like the Joker. He tries to kill the least amount of criminals.
He’s a character that needs introduction, since not a lot of people know about him. They can’t even make a proper Batman man, and he’s the core and center of the bat family.

I know, people always saying it looks wack but the only time I was concerned about it was that very first image they released. Ever since then, all the episode images, all the clips, the suit looks amazing and the helmet looks very clean as well as propitiate to his body too.
The helmet looks weird to me, but that might be my love for the OG helmet talking. Everything else, from the suit to all the different guns look dope as hell. Too bad the writing sucks.....
I’m just glad they gave him an actual red hood. Just seeing him wear only a red mask was kinda upsetting me. I still prefer the red hooded jacket from Arkham knight though.
He was pretty... evil in this show. Like the whole moral event horizon they crossed. Like his whole motivation was just being mad Batman tried to bench him. He's not mad Joker wasn't killed- because Batman was. Plus he was selling Batman out to Crane even before his death. Curran Walters was pretty good. But Jason should be in jail 100%. (Granted most of the characters in the show should be, but especially him)
The first Red Hood live version and he's literally the opposite of what he's supposed to be. He's not a mass murderer after innocents ya'll. He's even still a child. Glad I pushed this show off the table.

Suits good, nailed his fighting style, he's brutal. But he kills to many innocent people, he's super indecisive, the writing for him is weird, and he looks like your average teen tiktoker (curly styled hair big lips), and his helmet is a little big for my taste so it looks wonky. That last one is a minor nitpick but I thought I'd add it anyway
I can appreciate a more reckless blood thirsty version of Jason Todd (unmasked in public screaming) in his return he put Gothams crime on a leash while evading Batman and gcpd then capturing the joker in mere hours our boy does not get enough credit for all that!🔥🔥🔥

…. Am I crazy or is Jason the only character with consistently good fight scenes? Between Robin/ Red Hood and training the character never really has a bad action scene.
What sucks is that since Red Hood It's one of those characters that usually wears a mask that covers his whole head and face. They could have just had a stunt double with the right built and whenever they need to Jason they just zoom in.

My vision of the Red Hood is stronger, broader and taller than Night Wing. And good enough of a fighter to totally hold his own in a fight with Night Wing. Night Wing would still be faster, more agile and have stealth to his advantage

I'm not sure why everyone is so upset about Jason Todd/Red Hood in this season when there's a real chance for his return in later seasons. Just because he was misused once doesn't mean he won't be a more effective character in the next seasons.

@@tf-mr-blue748 That is because you can get away with that shit. Also you are mixing his classic origin with his Arkham Knight origin. Arkham Knight never died so should have scar tissue. Red Hood of the comics was ressurected by Superboy Prime rewriting reality. In this and now the more commonly accepted origin is a Lazarus Pit was used. They restore and renew so Red Hood should look younger if that is how he was ressurected.
I hope HBO will try to get this show better writing. I don’t want to drop it since I’m honestly loving the cast! I’ve had a crush on Nightwings actor ever since I saw him in Maleficent.

The actor's great Suit is mid at best, like his helmet is way to big- and wtf you do to his backstory man- I guess him as robin was okay but how he died, why he's hood and wtf happened with the titans- that doesn't really make sense with Jay's origins. But- if they choose to re do this one day liek ONE DAY please- the series is ending and like I want a rewrite of Jason's story. anyways I'd still like to see this actor as Jason in other projects because the actor is genuinely doing great i think.

I can't take this character seriously at all. He kills innocent people, he kills bad guy he comes across, he's way too young to be Red Hood (what is he? 16? He looks like it), and that mask makes him look like a bad cosplayer.

Such a wasted opportunity. They should have killed off Jason Todd & had his death weigh on the Titans & Batman. Continue on with the story for a few more seasons, then bring in Red Hood but recast him so he can be more like Batman’s size, because Curran Walters was pretty good as Jason Todd when he’s Robin but there’s usually like a 5 year difference between him dying and then becoming Red Hood. He needed to mature.

Great concept, terrible execution by the writers. Never should have revealed Jason as Red Hood so soon in the season, never should have killed off Deathstroke like that either.
They need to quit with the fucking automatic rifles, they're stupid and clunky and in no way fit his style or the way he was every trained. Atleast with 2 pistols they're smaller, faster, and lighter

I feel like it should be mentioned that the fights between Red Hood and Nightwing are *way* too dominated by Nightwing. Fights like that can go either way in canon.
main issue is that he fights primarily with guns here (which i mean, yeah, he does, but he’s kinda reduced to a gunslinger in the show) and it’s difficult to get an upper hand in a fight with a gun. you either hit or you miss and if you hit it’s basically over
