Some company bought the IP of red lobster. Then sold the buildings as a franchiser. Then kept the land those buildings were on. Then kept jacking up the price over and over until they can't pay the rent no more. Then declared bankruptcy, is selling the brand and leaving poor suckers dumb enough to buy the red lobster and the buildings. They still own the land.

Red Lobster classic. My friends and I would always go and order extra biscuits just to bring home.

As for the pies, they do put it in a freezer the day before. The next day, they put it in the fridge and then microwave it before it’s served to you. I use to work there and couldn’t believe they did that to those poor pie. I got lots of complaints from customers saying they didn’t like the pies very much. I wonder why?😅

My mom and I got takeout from Red Lobster the other day, and those biscuits were so dry I drove over to Popeye's and said "Try this shit", and the manager apologized on behalf of the Red Lobster employees. Like he was offended FOR ME. He said even they wouldn't do me like that, and I got a couple biscuits while I was there too, it was like they threw it in a bottle of water before giving it to me compared to that abomination from the lobster.

The RL closest to me is still open who knows how much longer. If they do go completely out of business I will miss their Walt's favorite shrimp.. those fried butterflied joints are tasty. And they have the best tarter sauce and of course cheddar bay biscuits. Guess I better go get some in case.

That’s how I felt when I had Red Lobster for delivery. The dessert was still good but the rest of the meal left much to be desired. Even the Cheddar Bay biscuits were kinda cold. Sad to see what’s happened.

I went last Saturday. I had those biscuits and some shrimpy pasta. The watermelon lemonade was pretty sweet and yummy. Flavor Flav bought every single dish where he is. He put the pics up on Twitter/X. It's the end of an era. Private equity sucks, yo.

The problem isn’t necessarily the quality of the food. It’s They’re Servers!!! Or Lack there of! Whenever I go, There’s always Hella empty tables but yet it seems like they can never sit your party down. They act like it’s impossible to seat you at one of there 100s of Empty tables. The Gate Keeping is so real. Not even worth the wait times/headache

Gotta say, I don't subscribe to stuff too often, only have about 8 subscriptions in all the years I've been browsing youtube, but you're videos are entertaining as hell, and practical, by which I mean it's mostly places I can actually go to, and things I can actually try! RL investors changed over the Covid period, like 4-5 times, and under this one Thai group RL was forced to buy seafood, especially its shrimp, from them at very high rates for very subpar seafood. The beginning of the end... but not for the RL near me. I'm not a fan, but I went once this year after a 20-year break. 😅 The meal was blech. No, more like BLECH!

Last time i had red lobster i door dashed it. I ordered 24 garlic shrimp scampis and 2 cheddar biscits. It took 3 hours. And the shrimp had no garlic or butter it tasted like someone microwaved some frozen shrimp from the grocery store, and i never got my buscits.. i wad heart broken
