Hi Richela - other creams like whipping cream, evaporated milk, or Nestle all-purpose cream cannot be used as a substitute for heavy cream, as it doesn’t have a high enough fat content. Heavy cream has a higher fat content (about 35-40% fat content), which is needed for the frosting to whip into stiff peaks and remain stable at room temperature. If the cream you're using has lower than 35-40% fat, it will not form stiff peaks. Make sure you're using cold "heavy cream" - also called "thick cream" in some countries. Hope this helps! :)
Can you make red ribbon creamy caramel cake pls? It's not the same as the "caramel cake" I see here on yt. It taste like, the original bakery birthday cake recipe. Something like that. We really2x love it.
For the heavy cream, I use Organic Valley brand, 365 WholeFoods brand, or the FoodTown brand of my local grocery store here in NYC - but any brand should work, as long as it heavy cream / heavy whipping cream. It's also called "thick cream" in some parts of the world. Hope this helps! :)
