If ube is my ultimate personal favorite, tiramisu is the most requested cake when I visit friends AND this technique is definitely what I'll try next.. Using Tia Maria or Kahlua for cake soak without the coffee is fine, yes? No dark rhum in my pantry, but have these. I think that'll make other guests 'happy' btw HAPPY NEW YEAR to you both !! Hello - thanks for your comment! I’d suggest just making coffee however you would for drinking, and use 3/4 cup of that. If you’re using instant coffee, you can use as directed on packet instructions. Hope this helps! 😊

Hi if im going to use dark chocolate instead of semi sweet its not too bitter? Coz i cant find the bitter sweet chocolate here in our place snd the semi sweet might be too sweet? Thank you

For the heavy cream, I use Organic Valley brand, 365 WholeFoods brand, or the FoodTown brand of my local grocery store here in NYC - but any brand should work, as long as it heavy cream / heavy whipping cream. It's also called "thick cream" in some parts of the world. Hope this helps! :)
