Greetings from a cool Torrance! Thank God! Wife actually complained that it was cold last night. Go figure. Every video has been a learning lesson with no exception. I know some people would have cashed out after the 4 aces, but you re-emphasized that this is now casino money. You are not risking anything but their money. Having a plan, a strategy, and an extra bankroll shows that someone who is prepared can win. Even if things get sour, that is part of being prepared. I don't get too bent out of shape(that might be a small white lie) when I lose because I am looking at the big picture. You are teaching everyone to look at the big picture and it looks pretty darn good! Arigato Sensei John!
Thank you, Paul. And Yes, I’m glad the heat way is over. Even though the video ended, there’s more to come from this multi-part session at Red Rock. The best is yet to come. Thank you for your encouraging words. Best wishes to your Mom and family.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Hello John! Another great informative video. Congrats on being invited to the G2E expo & your contributions to expanding the VP community. Jo & I will miss you & the group by 2 weeks as we will be in Vegas at the end of Oct. Best of luck on your quest for the $100,000 goal by year's end. Keep up the great work & say Hi to Nimfa. 🙂
Hi Mark & Jo, Sorry to miss seeing you both on this upcoming trip. Hopefully, you two can make it up to Red Rock this time around. I’m sure that you’ll both love the place. The quest the $100,000 Challenge is still on. I’ll be stepping-up the denomination play in October, November, and December. Nimfa extends her best wishes. Take care!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Hi Mark, It’s a straight shot West of downtown. 12 Miles…..it’s only a 17 minute ride! Totally worth it to go there, and a big mistake if you don’t. Good Luck!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you, Jim. I’m experimenting with posting more videos of shorter duration. As time goes on, please let me know which format is better overall. Thank you!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Hi John. I have adapted, but paraphrased you motto of "preserve the bankroll and give luck a chance." Moving up and down in betting has done just that and had kept me playing longer giving me a chance at a juicy jackpot. Though no method is perfect, it has kept me playing longer and given me some nice payouts in the end. Thanks for the tip🙂
Yes! And there was one tonight at Pechanga. Ultra-loud, blood-curdling screams probably over a non-existent jackpot to boot. Even when I hit 3 Royals in 3 hours in one night for $110,000, the people next to me didn’t even know it until they heard the jackpot music. I never react or say a word. I enjoy winning but I’ve won 38 Royal Flushes so I’ve been there before. Besides, I fully expect to hit them so it’s no surprise to me when I do.🌎
I had an interesting afternoon a few days ago. Tired of the little local so went to Sunset Station. They have a $1-2-5 progressive. On the $1, aces w/k was really high so I thought to give it a go. Less than one minute later, I hear the jackpot song. Guy 2 seats down hits the Royal. Then I hear to my right the jackpot song, a man on $5 hits 4 aces w/k! I just cashed out and went elsewhere. Lost at every machine. Reminded myself why I don't play there anymore, left and went to my local. Played my 5 play and got my $1000 back. lol Good luck John!! Royals in your future.
Nice story with a remarkable ending! It’s funny how things work out sometimes! I used to stay & play at Sunset Station since their offers were so good. I haven’t been back to Sunset Station in a while. But I had some great times there. I need to hit them up again.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Excellent video! Wished I were playing video poker at a great pay table somewhere (instead of being stuck at work), but work is important! Now just have to focus on these paperwork!
Thank you, Pecunious! I enjoyed playing video poker with you on those great pay tables. Can’t wait to do it again! In the meantime, I think I’ll have a Jersey Mike’s Sub!😋🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker The Veggie Sub at Jersey Mike's was excellent. There is a Rubio's near me, but they don't put enough white (tartar) sauce in the fish taco. Guess it is a healthier version, but not as tasty!
I’ve passed by that Maryland Live casino on the way to Friendship airport but I’ve never played there. Hopefully, they have 8/5 BP there. Please let us know how it goes and tell us about the pay tables being offered there.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Great! I’m glad that in some small (pair😂) way, my channel could help. I need more daily practice on a simulator to keep the correct plays in mind myself. By the yard, it’s hard, but, inch by inch, it’s a cinch! Thank you, Bill.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
On high denomination coin I definitely cash-out & leave when I hit the Big Royals. But if it’s an $4,000-$8,000 Royal, I re-cycle that House money bankroll back into $10, $20, $25 coin machines in order to hit Giant Royals.😉🌎
Just an inside joke between me and Slotmassacre.😂 He & Curtis (both ardent players of 9/7 & 9/6 TDB) cringe anytime they see me hit Aces w/kicker on a game (8/5 BP) that doesn’t reward the player with it.😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you, Teresita! I’m 90% finished my 1st video for 2023. It should be out soon. Thank you for your enduring patience. I’m rearranging my schedule so that I can keep up a more robust RU-vid schedule for the rest of 2023. I’ve been spinning a lot of plates lately.😅🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thanks for pointing that out, David. It’s funny how if it were a small pair, that would be held, but if it’s 2 face cards, the correct play is to go for the open-ended Straight Flush. Good point, I’ll have to remember that in the future!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you! And your absolutely right. Playing faster is generally NOT a good thing. If anything, playing faster contributes to more mistakes being made (especially for me!🥴)Thanks for watching!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
The machines all operate on their own random number generator 24/7 and they’re constantly shuffling and dealing out the cards wether they’re being played or not. When a player puts money into the machine then they get to see the cards that are constantly being dealt out when they press deal and re-deal. Staying on the same machine for all eternity or jumping from machine to machine to machine, makes no difference. The cards are constantly being shuffled and dealt out randomly. However, I won’t usually just sit on a machine if it is draining me dry. I’ll move to other machines. But when I’m filming, I also have to move and re-center the camera etc. So I will linger longer for that reason. There are several parts to this one session at Red Rock. The video may have ended but the session hasn’t. There’s more to come…and it ends well. As an rookie, I have made close to $500,000 playing video poker and that’s only counting the Royal Flushes. I’m looking forward to what it will be, when and if, I ever turn pro.🌎
While it may be the end of this particular video, there’s still 60% of my $500 bankroll remaining and this is just the first segment of a long session that ends well.😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
