Can’t believe it’s finally out! It was a blast to film and definitely a once in a lifetime experience. I’m very lucky to have been a part of it. The Redeemers Rock! 🤘🤘
Breathe into Me piano in the saloon, Joe Rickard's gravestone, 2006 on the population count would be the year End of Silence came out, the plague doctor from of Beauty and Rage, the emblems from Release the Panic... lots of cool stuff here! Love it!!
Shout out to bathroom guy who also got kicked out a window in the bar scene. I remember them having to film that over and over from different angles... Poor guy. So much fun to be a part of this day and hang out with the guys. They're all so incredibly creative to have come up with this. 🖤
This band never ceases to amaze me how creative and talented they are, they expand past just making music but great acting! Great job Brian and Randy on the story and directing
I had such a blast doing drone shots on this video! Everyone involved were such good hangs and fun to work with! Thank you for including me ❤ This turned out incredible!
If you listen to their “Rated R” album in its entirety; you will understand the concept behind the video!!! I so enjoyed seeing them and meeting half of the Band at Winter ❄️ Jam 2020” before Coronavirus shut everything down!!! I can’t wait to meet Michael Barnes someday good Lord willing and the rest of the band!!! My prayer is that I get to tour with them as well!!!! They’re so otherworldly cool!!! Thanks guys for an amazing film love y’all ❤️❤️❤️!!! God Bless!!!
That was the best RED short film i have ever seen! Also, I found some Easter eggs. In the start of the film, you will be given a disclaimer about this short film being rated R. That refers to RED's latest album called Rated R. I like how they included that as a feature. At 0:36-0:39, if you look to the right, you will see the name 'Rickard' on the grave shaped like the cross. That refers to Joe Rickard, another former drummer of the band RED, now a drummer of In Flames. At 2:33-2:39, if you look at the Condor, Utah sign, you will see that the population number was 2006. 2006 was the year that RED released their first album called End of Silence on June 6th. Also, they had the name 'Condor' from the unfinished track from Innocence & Instinct with the same name. Now, as mentioned, Sherrif Stillwell, according to the Credits, has the name 'Hate' in which refers to that of this song from the album Declaration called The Evening Hate. Also, there is another one. See how the Snake Oil Salesman wears that Plague Doctor mask? That refers to the album called Of Beauty and Rage. Also, there was a ragtime performance of the song Breathe Into Me, which was a song on the End of Silence album. There. That's some of the Easter eggs that I found while watching this film. Let me know if I missed some more Easter eggs.
This was SO much fun to be a part of- a once in a lifetime experience I will never ever forget! It turned out amazing and so fun to watch the final result and see the hard work pay off! 😍🤗
This was so much fun to be a part of. Got to hangout with my favorite band for a day and fellow fans. Such a great experience. Thanks Red and everyone involved.
I had so much fun filming this! My sister and i’s fight seen was the highlight, we had so much fun doing it. It’s so amazing to see this vision come to life for the band! I will forever be grateful my sister and I got to be a part of it and the memories we made. #equalpaynow
Good work guys. Had some good jokes that made me laugh! I wasn't expecting that last reference. It was cool seeing the parallels to other videos/RED "lore".
Nice callback to Of Beauty and Rage at the end. Also like that the town is named Condor. Seems like something that could make for a cool graphic novel or mini-series, of sort.
RED, that was such a well made short with so many twists and turns. Its amazing how your other album shorts were incorporated into this one. You guy's are amazingly talented in so many ways! I've loved you guy's so much since the beginning ❤️. You're music has saved the lives of so many people. God bless you all 🙏💜
Omg such a cool film! I love that it ties back to the music videos with the plauge dr mask at the end! I definitely love the og music videos for that reason! They all connected! So cool!❤
What a blast this was! What a great experience it was to be a part of this! Such great people to work with, everyone was so awesome! RED is so beyond talented and I am excited to see what they come up with next! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
The Sheriff is the same guy who was in the Evening Hate. Coincidence? Hmmm. Then the plague doctor at the end. I have more questions than answers but wow!!!!
Absolutely amazing as usual guys! It was so fun to be a part of and I’m so glad I was able to participate!! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. 🔥
It’s a video to promote their songs!!! Most of their Music 🎶 Videos tell a story along with a song! They had the background song “Surrogates!” It’s like a bonus!!! Listen to the whole album “Rated R” and the pieces will fit like a puzzle 🧩!!! It’s like a bonus!!! More Artists should do this because it is “killer!”
I am so glad this has finally came out! It has been so hard to not talk about this. Shoutout to all the extras in this music video, this truly was a day to remember!
I was waiting for it to fade into a music video. But this was cool. Always good to expand your capabilities. Well written. Decently acted. And the camera work was on point. And who doesn't dream of being a cowboy?!
Ive seen your short film a quarter to 3 PM and I loved every bit of it :) I caught a couple of the Easter Eggs thus far which are: 2006, which is the year "End Of Silence" came out(Your first album) and then towards the end I seen a guy with a mask which resembled your 5th album "Of Beauty and Rage", but also it was from your music video for "Darkest Part", and then finally i thought i seen an evil smile from your character's opponent in the mirror, i think it resembled the song "The Evening Hate" from your 2020 album "Declaration". Other than that i found no other Easter Eggs. :) Thank you for making this short film and I thank all the cast and so forth as well :)
I was dreading this concept, but I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the tie in to "The Evening Hate" with the evil sheriff. Well done boys. I'll never doubt you all again.
The ending shot!!!! An omage to Of Beauty and Rage.... Been a fan since the beginning... Met you multiple times... Even guessed one of my twins names at a meet and greet... lol Well Done Guys... You said we would never get an album years ago and struggled... Your talent in lyrics and growth as a band... We as fans are so blessed... Much Respect to all you guys...
If I could I would do a translation subtitled in Spanish, very good production and I can't get enough of listening to their latest album "Rated", much anticipated and thank you, greetings from Argentina.
Solid video from a solid Band. I've loved this band for years and you guys have never disappointed. I'm 100% happy that you guys have the creative freedom to make your music your way. Rock on!!!❤
Overall great cinematography, interesting reveals to this grand saga, and job well done guys! 🎊🎉 Only one critique: As much as I like the name " The Redeemers", I had hoped there would be some sort of connection to the gospel. But besides that, I was entertained. 👍 👍
