one of the most original ideas for a tatoo i've heard of was a friend of mine who was border-line obsessed with cars got the VIN number from his first car tatooed in a decorative ring around his ankle.

Geoff is actually entirely covered in tattoos. And he does say in the PSA to not repeat the mistakes that he had made in choice of tattoo. I don't think he's hypocritical. He didn't support getting a tattoo, he just gave advice on what NOT to get if you ARE getting one.

@shadowawakening777 While 900 million is wrong, so is saying everyone in Chinese speaks Mandarin chinese. While a huge amount do, there are areas that have other dialects of chinese and may only know mandarin as a 2nd or 3rd language, similar to English. It is very similar to the National, regional, state, and town languages that sometimes exist in India, where traveling a 100 miles may mean the 1st and 2nd language has changed (but they likely all speak Hindi, so talking is possible.

While working with the military, I watched many young airmen make big mistakes; tattoos. New airmen, fresh out of Basic Training would often go to Sheppard AFB for tech school (depending on specialty) & find that the base is literally surrounded by tattoo shops. Clearly, an attempt to capitalize on young people with fat government pay checks. The worst part is that 7 out of every 10 airman tend to regret them later in life. So my warning is this; wait a few years before inking your body.

@@DavidManser Wow! How strange to get a a reply to a comment from 12 years ago. You made my day. 30 is going great, I just got married recently. I'm covered in tattoos now and I followed all the rules from this video. My only mistake was not doing my research on the tattoo shop for my first one that I got shortly after turning 18. The dude was a terrible artist and I wound up getting it covered up a few years later.
