I like the content but most of the “history” of this boot that you brought up is incorrect(ish)… yes there were similar boots back in the day but the Iron Ranger as we know it is a redesign by a Japanese designer. Disappointed by the lack of research done into this. That said, I enjoy the rest of your videos and the redrafts! Keep up the good work!
It’s true redwing has an book about it !! They hired an Japanese designer/ engineer to design an replica model of the original iron ranger shoe …. The original one ranger have the redwing stamp on the side of the boot and are rare and not sold or kept as an antique in someone’s home but they have pics of them in the redwing history 📕 yes they have a redwing book with pics of the original iron ranger !
Unfortunately there are no formal training facilities. Most getting into the trade these days are finding someone to apprentice under and watching RU-vid videos on channels like ours and others out there to expand beyond the capabilities of their trainers
