@@mylesanderson5864 its true, yzf 250 Star package. But Blake’s first comment could need additional point that Larroco did it on a 125 with less power than Stewart even had on his 125. It’s more like how the ruts and buildup to the jump is on the given occasion. Larrocos leap is big no doubt, but if a 125 guy can make it so would anyone who wants to do, would make it is especially on a the torquier four strokes!

Also Larocco himself did it on a 125 when he first made it famous. It’s doable on a 125, but you best be in like 5th or 6th gear, and give it all the bike can handle.

he is leaning back to compress the spring. when he stands up at the top he moves forward to let the spring extend to get some more air. its called seat bouncing

I would have thought seat bouncing was for smaller jumps only, like bouncing on the spring real quick instead of compressing it allllll the way up a jump face like Baggett does here, which I guess is why I asked. Also, the whole idea of using the shock to gain distance on a jump kind of seems like something out of a video game to me. It's like, wait, that ACTUALLY works? It sounds like fantasy -- like, I've seen how slow the rebound on shocks are, it's not exactly a catapult...how much distance could it possibly add? But I guess it's something where if you ride and feel the difference yourself, you just know.

@@VeritableSmorgasbord you’re right the rebound on shocks is relatively slow but what you have to remember is that there is a spring wrapped around the shock which helps it rapidly rebound. It helps a lot when you’re trying to get extra distance on a Jump. When done properly you can get an extra 5-15 feet depending on how fast you’re going. You’re right it’s something you’re riding

@@VeritableSmorgasbord If you keep on the gas and keep it G'd out, you can seat bounce any jump. When I say "you", I mean the best riders in the world. Most would never try it - even if they knew how it worked.
