I have drifted quite a few auto cars and have found that a welded diff works wayyyyy better than an lsd. Due to the lack of a clutch to break everything loose quickly the welded diff seems to make up for it.

Reminds me of all the crazy dumb stuff I used to do back when I was like 20 years younger.....Only I didn't have a track like that to go to to do the dumb things legally, That place is such a gift, really...Its a place worth preserving just so others can have that exact feeling you guys got.

That is cool that you're doing it and I can't wait till you do more add-ons and just have a 300 horsepower I think this car is going to be good for drifting and popping flames and give it some new wider tires

Sam I feel like you have had several million buck ideas. The live streaming set up for twitch is next level... Imagine making a plug and play for other drivers/teams/any racing sport. Turning single jingles into rippers for kind of cheap with the market for skylines about to rocket to the moon if you could restore and make them streetable and affordable you could turn single jingles into gold.
it suprises me that a single jingle with auto-transmission does it pretty good.. when its manual swapped and suspension is good it would be a good car to teach May how to drift 😁
@@nzuncovered1845 well here in the netherlands there are rare even in the old days.. they never sold them directly from the dealer here so thats why it suprises me. even nowadays there are not many skylines over here.. only time you really see a r32-33-34 here is on car shows..
@@twankalsbeek7583 Oh right I see, we were lucky in New Zealand there were thousands of them imported, they were a common daily driver for many people, but they are quite rare now, many were destroyed or turned to track cars
Sam....I was only less than 1 minute into this video and heard you were going to test the Bogen R32 without an intercooler. I can remember videos and diagrams from over 20 years ago and every turbo application had an intercooler. It is essential; without seeing what you do; the air temps are going to sky rocket. Not a good way to prove the engine can take it. I would not be surprised if the engine takes a rough beating and nullifying if the single jingle really can take it. Cooling is very important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's fine, quite a few cars have ran turbo without intercooler in the past, and if you watch the video you see that it's running so rich that it wont matter anyway. Now once tuned properly, yes proper intake temps will be essential.
Well if the Bogan 32 aint going to be much of a drift car so what about an Aussie Burnout machine Sam you know you've always wanted one cause it'll burn a tire up for sure wont it !
Thing sounds like a weapon trough headset , id love to see this with a solid transmission capeable of 400 - 450 , would be sick with a Linkecu and some other goodies / coilovers
