We left our truck on mainland Honduras and took a boat to the Island of Utila. Here we could walk out of our front door and within 2 minutes be diving in the thickest coral reefs and schools of tropical fish I've ever seen.
You can pretty quickly see why this is a scuba and snorkeling hotspot, a real vacation destination.

Hey you- tube why don't these videos show up in my feed? I have been watching @Everlanders for years. I have to go to my subscriptions and force it😊 Okay here goes my algorithm boost. Great video! It works really well, but Kara tends to have problems because she'll toss her hair back to keep her bangs out of the face seal as she puts it on and that inertia closes the ball/float/seal on the snorkel for when you dive. And if you time your breath just right and you need to inhale instead of exhaling, (50% of the time) You can't breathe in because the valve is closed. It is taking some practice, and thus the name was coined 🤿

My wife and I eloped to the island of Cozumel, Mexico a few months ago and this reminds me so much of snorkeling there right off the resort beach on the Palancar Reef. We want to go to Belize this summer.

Man, you guys go all the good places, traveling such a sweet way. That island looks like it has better snorkeling and diving than Roaton. Well, we did take a private Jet to Roaton in January of ‘21 :) ( American Airlines 737 from Vegas with 14 people on board , sit where you want they said, do not know how or why they even flew it, but it was cheap for us and great.

The border crossings have high power x-ray systems at which you need to place the truck in a building, and stand behind a metal wall while it scans the truck. Then, if they can't clearly identify the contents then you get to do a secondary inspection with the Military Police. 🤗Yay! (We got to do that!) All in all the border crossing in these countries have taken us about 5 - 8 hours each.
