Sure Splatoon 3 isn't out yet and we don't have an exact meta yet and the title is overused and sure its too early to say "op" but THATS OK BECAUSE WITHOUT A DOUBT THE NEW REEFSLIDER IS OP
The inflatable shark is such a great special, not only does it have a big bang explosion BUT the slide before the boom has enough power to SPLAT any opponent in your way! Might I even add that it is strong enough to take down a CRAB TANK?? I will watch the reefsliders career with great interest.

Fun Fact: Dolphins tend to play with other animals, such as pufferfish, other fish, and Crabs. Giving the Crab Tank a brief hope before you use your Reefslider is just nature in play...

There is that initial delay before the slide where you're vulnerable to be splatted. I don't think it's overpowered, it's pretty easy to get out of the way and isn't that different from the booyah bomb in kill area.

so, reefslider isnt broken by any means, but its strong still; the best part of the reefslider is that its on tetras as opposed to splashdown, and that along with MPU being out of the game makes it so that tetras are one of the best weapons in the game, since the main weapon is busted and autobomb is pretty good

You can stop a reefslider with the throwable wall, I had done that in a random match and we both looked at each other akwardly like "did this just happen?" The random player hated me and only focused on me for the rest of the game :D So yeah, reefslider gets countered by Ink Wall

Honestly the reefslider is no where near broken enough to need a nerf, now an overpowered special would be the tacticooler which does so much that its kinda too much, the reefslider is actually pretty easy to get out of the way of and its really easy to kill the person starting it up

It’s op if you can aim and time the explosion right, but otherwise, you opponent can just squid roll or get out of its range

and now that the game is out, reef slider is considered a bad special, since it has endlag which makes it easy to splat them immediately after, and can be dodged just by squid rolling through the explosion. or just avoiding it altogether.

Aight, reefslider, it’s bad. I can make it good with 3 words: Make startup invincible If reefslider is based off kraken, it should be an instant activation invincibility special as well! :D Now reef slider is an escape, approach, object breaker, and panic button

I think the Reafslider is balanced. It only goes in a straight line, and you can see it coming for you before it reaches you. It also doesn’t go that far

Except it covers the area in paint and has a multi level explosion. An entire team with them used them together in the last 10 seconds and covered the entire middle of the map with paint.

I played with the reefslider and I learned on certain maps your even able to get into enemy spawn area or around it (some maps restrict how close you can get to enemy spawn) by using certain parts of the map and I was able to spawn camp the enemy team the entire match.
