SPLATOON 3 IS REAL. Still kinda hard to believe that it's actually happening and with the small little 3 minute reveal, THERES A LOT TO LOOK FORWARD TOO. BUT with everyone else doing it might as well and go through the Splatoon 3 Announcement Trailer to look for small little details crammed in a small 3 minute trailer.

Because the little buddy isn’t shown in battle, he’s probably for story mode. Maybe they’ll design puzzles where you can move him around? Or maybe he’ll help you fight enemies but you still have to protect him because he’s so little.

There will be 2 global testfires probably, the firts might happen in August meanwhile the next one in October and around the next months we might splatoon directs as well where they can talk about some new weapons and the announcement of the global testfire

Sidenote: Jumping seems to be now based on weapon weight or a new gear ability, according to research During the trailer, some people noticed that some inklings seemed to jump WAY HIGHER than others (ignoring squid surge of course), which leads to speculate if there maybe a new gear ability, or perhaps a rework of Run Speed up to include all kid form movement OR it could be based on your weapon weight, which is already a thing that affects your run speed. Which sounds absolutely insane Also, YOU BET IM MAINING SPLAT BOW AS SOON AS THE GAME RELEASES

as someone who recently visited Vegas, the area in this game is VERY similar to Nevada, so it is my headcannon that this game takes place there, and that ifle tower is indeed. the one from Vegas

Eye brows seems to be attached to what “style” (basically gender) you pick at the start, the left inkling and octoling have thinner eyebrows, the right inkling and octoling have thicker eyebrows.

the reason there’s no original mario kart on the switch is because mario kart 8 is still flying off the shelves, how would it benefit nintendo to reveal it now, people would stop buying this one. they would probably do it when a switch pro comes out or when the sales for 8 slow down. the reason there’s an original splatoon is because it has an actual lore and story unlike mario kart, so it makes some sense

I think either way, they would have tried to make Splatoon 3 a bit “dystopian”. If chaos won, (which it did,) they would have made it the way it is now. A large area of dusty desert, and then the BUSTLING city of Splatsville. If order won, I can imagine that there would be like robots or enemies everywhere, and you would have strict paths you can travel on. Nonetheless, I am excited for Splatoon 3, but it is NOT AT ALL what I excepted. I half expected it to be like all of those fan made concepts. Also- I’m glad all of the Splatoon RU-vidrs are taking a break from Animal Crossing and are back to Splatoon. I don’t have Animal Crossing.

I have an idea for story mode, their could be 2 different protagonists that you control, one is your agent, the other is a traitor in the enemy group. Being able to experience the story from 2 different perspectives would be really cool and provide more lore. It would also give more variety to the story mode levels. They could also add optional missions you can do such as “splat 50 enemies in 60 seconds” and some of these missions could overlap both sides of the story which would be very interesting.

They could do it like Yo-Kai-Watch 3 : You need the traitor to unactivate a trap in order to progress, you need the other agent to splat a general to unlock a new area for the traitor to unactivate something, and from start to finish they progress thanks to their teamwork

@@Osmium498 With the phone that we get in the octo expansion, employee edition, that Marina borrowed from agent 3 without asking first modified in a way that may or may not be legal. She installed a program that instantly destroy without trial any non-allied device trying to access the conversation. That's the model that agent 6, the traitor, is going to use. As for agent 5, the cannon fodder, she ( or he ) have the same, but as agent 8's phone

@@Osmium498 That would be nice, but to get more details about how Tartar gave life to his disgusting green octopus puree they'll need to make the game 18+ with the violence and horror tags. Splatoon 2 : Octo Expansion took risks, it talked about post war racism in a very smart and subtle way, and it talked about slaughter in a far less subtle way, and it was 14+ on the eshop while splatoon 2 was 7+. I'm using the European recommended age because I don't know about the others, but you get what I'm saying. Thought I'd love it if they could continue using subtle, deeper themes, without shoving all the violence into your face like most of the games that kids play ( GTA, COD, etc ) because that's what splatoon stories do best.

Gameplay theory: inklings and octolings could already do the new dodge and squid surge but now since chaos won the final splat fest using it is no longer a penalty before in inkopilis a highly populated area it would have to be fair but in this chaotic area it’s allowed

The little squid roll jump and the super high jump seen by the octoling might mean (well this is just what I want) is more movement options like in Mario 64 or Odyssey. That would be really cool compared to the normal walking and swimming which get repetitive. I’m hoping for that.

On the respawning thing people found that you can see in the background of one shot a purple inkling respawning on the drone thingy, it’s at roughly 2 minutes and 29 seconds into the trailer, and is in the top-right corner. I’d recommend clicking through frame by frame because it goes by so quickly

some stuff you missed was at one point you can kinda see someone spawning in the sky a splat bomb did make an appearance in the corner of the trailer somewhere also the new and old spawn points are coffee/expresso machines France does have a pyramid structure in the city so IDK. Also, I've been looking at a lot of other similar videos and some think that scooter is going to play a role and the right side of the map showing the plaza you can barely MAYBE make out an escalator and someone saw what might be a train stop sign near the battle tower on the right side. sry if this ain't specific I'm too lazy to type stuff out

I think the little buddy is like pets for the Inklings and Octolings, much like how we have dogs and other pets we keep. Also, the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas is actually much smaller while the Eiffel Tower here is larger and looks like the real Eiffel Tower from Paris. I think the Eiffel Tower in the photo is the version from Las Vegas.

My theory: The eiffel tower stayed there in Paris(I assume) even after the inklings arrived. That's why Callie and Marie were able to go there to see it. But after Team Chaos won, some group turned it upside down for unknown reasons. Probably just for the sake of chaos.

Makes me wonder how everything would have looked if order won, everything would probably be the same but with a futuristic theme. Also the reason I loved the first splatoon so much was because of.......miiverse...

A possible explanation for the Eiffel Tower photograph could just be that there are replicas of it just like we make replicas of structures irl. Trains exist in the Splatoon world outside of the Deepsea Metro. There's literally no connection. It's also very likely the fish on the train is just an average citizen since a lot of species roam the surface. Those "sloshers" are actually coffee machines.

I've kicked down a Mario theory. In Mario ocdisty you loose coins when you die, same with Bowsers fury. So does Mario pay coins to live again? And if so who is he paying?

Plot twist: Mr. GRIZZ is using the power eggs to breed a salmonoid army, which we will fight against in splatoon 3. Our little buddy was a escaped salmon from the breed. Mr. GRIZZ is the main villain. My prediction

wait, wait, wait, wait. Ive already noticed that the way one guy didnt jump onto the "espresso machine" but to hold it under head but I just noticed that one guy on the left of the against team has jumped onto the opposite side of the espresso machine. like upside down. I think it does something to the character.

Fun fact: If you head back to the Splatoon 3 Trailer on the Official Nintendo RU-vid Channel and go at 2:36 you can actually see one of the new eyes colors, being the blue pupils, red iris one.

I was not expecting another Splatoon game on Switch. I mean, we already have 2, and people like that so there wasn't really a need for Splatoon 3, but they did it anyway, and my mind was blown when I saw it. I'm very excited for this game because it looks very promising.
