When you look at the match in HD quality nowadays you can tell Regal was working snug but not taking liberties. Goldberg never paid his dues and as some have said, was very whiny about getting hurt despite being a monster who hurt a lot of workers himself lol

Yea I respect Goldberg and his Dominate Presence in Wrestling but I always thought he was Overrated, Mainly because his Limitations as A Charcter and Personality and Of course his glaring Limitations in the ring.

Regal: literally doing his job Goldberg: that’s illegal.

Honestly, HBK ‘losing his smile’ did as much to help get Stone Cold to the next level as the ‘Austin 3:16’ promo. That awesome Submission match with Bret with the Double Turn and the visual of a bloody Austin screaming in agony from the pain of the Sharpshooter but refusing to submit. That did just as much, if not more, to launch Stone Cold into superstardom than “Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your ass!”

I had legit had an odd dream that Solomonster was doing a review / recap of Netflix's "Cecil Hotel" documentary and it started out with his distinctive voice, "Elisa Lam...doing a swanton dive into a septic tank and yet another poor booking by WWE..."

Regarding Randy Orton overtaking The Rock's record as the youngest Intercontinental Championship, it was actually Jeff Hardy who beat that record when he briefly won the belt from Triple H in 2001.

Maybe your best history-episode so far! (I do believe what clinched it for Foley at WMV was that he suffered a knee injury. Not saying he would - or should - have been in the match, but when he got hurt, that was the end of it - he talks about it in Foley is Good.)

The Goldberg vs Regal match was great I’ve never understood the hate, to me looks like a real competitive match where the story is that Goldberg the young inexperienced power house had to overcome the technical veteran.
