Hello! If I had legs like yours, I would wear shorts every day! The sheep look fabulous after their makeover. I love the current format of the videos and a podcast would be awesome. The newsletter is great too, so much effort and helpful information in it and I like the tone of the writing. Big hugs to you all!
Thank you so much for the feedback Candace! Always a pleasure to receive feedback with which we can work to make the channel even better. Thanks for your kind words about the newsletter. The conversation with Tania is made available in newsletter we just sent out. Hugs, from Filipe and myself. ❤️
Love your videos. It's nice for a change seeing a RU-vidr whose not from the US or the UK (*not that I am hating on them or anything, seeing another person growing crops in a different climate and culture is exciting and intriguing*). Plus as a bonus we get to see you guys prepare delicious meals. Sending my appreciation from 🇿🇦
Thank you for this wonderful message!!! Let us know if there are things you are wondering about. We might be able to explain some of the thinking behind our cultural differences :D Also would love to hear what you are eating over there! ❤️
So, I like your videos very much! Everything is well done: videography, farming, cooking… Thanks! And, yes, love the series on other farmers doing the right thing. Suggestions: on RU-vid, The Dutch Farmer - knows what they’re doing, amazing progress in such a short period of time; also on RU-vid, Roots Down Homestead: young couple working very hard to learn, got hit hard by flooding a year ago, understood that they had to revive the land/forest, and have worked soooo hard to do so. I wish them well because they are really trying. So, two different approaches, same goals, wonderful examples of good people doing their best, both in Portugal. 😊
Thank you very much! Will definitely check out all your suggestions! It sounds like they are all worth a visit and connect :) Love to hear your enthusiasm as well about the subject and support of these projects! ❤️
Oh man, I always leave your videos hungry.. looks so yummy.. I love your farm videos, the food that comes out of your gardens is amazing.. But the podcast sounds really good too.. expand and connect....
Love the content would like to see more animals on the farm!! Yesterday had my first quails hatching so cute and compost that’s the start of the garden no compost no veggies 🤗😉
Thank you so much! You an me both ;) We are aiming for pigs and dairy cows as our first new additions. But small poultry would be much easier to handle!!!now with Filipe down, I might need to settle for ducks or turkey. I just really want homegrown butter and cream. How do you keep your quails? Do you eat them? Did you see our extended video on compost we made? It is indeed a topic that endlessly interesting! More to come for sure. Big hug from us both
Greetings! My first visit to your lovely spot! I will be back so I won't yet know how to answer your question at the end! However, I may well visit you in person in the future... to learn more!! For now, I'm happy to have found your channel!! Stay well!
it would be super cool to hear/ see more from chefs that are equally committed to regenerative practices as you but are maybe still working in restaurants, maybe as clients of the farms you visited or something like that. tanks for punting out the videos and i love the crocks;)
Great idea! ❤️ Also from one crock lover to another here is something that made laugh out loud for you! www.reddit.com/r/FunnyAnimals/comments/t50cpx/mamas_got_to_care_for_her_baby/
Thank you very much for your positive feedback! Epsom salt helps tomatoes grow better by providing magnesium and sulfur, essential nutrients for healthy plants. Magnesium aids in photosynthesis, making leaves greener and more efficient at producing energy. It also improves the plant's ability to absorb other nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus. Using Epsom salt can lead to stronger plants and tastier tomatoes, mostly if you grow them very intensively. We use it by introducing it into the soil when we prep the bed. if you want you could also water it into an existing bed.
I am new here and love what you doing specially the cooking part. Were are you guys from before Portugal living? Greetings from South Africa, Cape Town. God Bless you all🙏🤗🌻
Welcome to our channel!!! So happy you found us. Looking forward to making much more cooking content and sharing it with you. Cape Town is on our bucket list. We have friends there!
HELLO. THE PORTUGUESE NAVIGATOR VASCO DA GAMA IN 1497 LEFT LISBON, TRAVELING NEVER NAVILED SEAS TO GO TO INDIA AND BRING AND INTRODUCE THE SPICES, THE CONDIMENTS THAT WE ARE GOING TO GET FROM THE STORE TODAY! HUGS
Traveling farm series was great, especially to bring awareness in their area. Would like to see meat animals, their butchering, preparation, and cooking. Sausages, pate, specifically. Iberian ham process?
