In this episode we visit Tiago and Rosa on their farm in Viana do Castelo 'Horta de Laugarás'. There operation is truly inspirational, not only due to its' size, but also due to the fact that they run multiple small scale enterprises on the farm. We of course also show you what is going on on our own regenerative farm and take you into the kitchen, as always, this time to make a delicious strawberry dessert.

I buy a weekly veg box from Horta de Laugaras and I'm happy to report that I've had some of the most delicious vegetables I've eaten in Portugal, their eggs are also top quality, everything is very fairly priced and they're a lovely couple. I couldn't ask for more...

Hi, I'm really enjoying this series, especially as I'm also about to start a market garden. I am still missing a polytunnel, I find it difficult to find a professional one in Portugal. Maybe you can tell me where you bought yours? That would help me a lot. Greetings from the Alentejo.

@@thefarmingchefs ello and thank you very much for your kind reply. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to farming/market gardening, so I'm not sure about the size. My goal is to supply about 10 - 15 families with organic fruit and vegetables. A small to medium sized tunnel would probably be sufficient to start with as I would also like to build a greenhouse.
