Switched over to Rekordbox from Serato. Haven’t looked back since. Serato is an awesome software but my personal choice is Rekordbox due to the features, display options and most of all the DDJ-1000.
I would love it Rekordbox released 7" control vinyl, like Serato did. Pioneer has no plans on doing that but the popularity of small portable turntables might change their mind....
i really think i would. but not now, thanks sooo much for the review, no one has a review like this , so this helps a lot. i might look into purchasing a rekordbox system to try it out. maybe that performance controller.
Thank you for watching! I really do like Rekordbox DJ a lot. I would still say I feel more comfortable DJing in Serato DJ Pro on a daily basis, but if Pioneer keeps updating Rekordbox DJ at the same rate it could really be a solid contender.
serato sempre levara vantagem simplesmente porque faz o mapeamento sozinho . os outros programas voce tem que fazer mapeamento manual e depender da sua experiencia minima mexendo no vinil tradicional e sensibilidade . Virtual DJ voce tambem tem vantagem pq voce pode gravar toda sua configuração mapeamento e marcaçoes de hotcue que fez manualmen te e usar em outro VDJ.
Good video bro, you mention , basically it’s a plug and play, as long as you have dvs/vinyls . Is it the same for cdj? You just have to have a time code cd or on a usb?
will you ever do a comparison or recommendation video regarding serato dj pro vs rekordbox? Secondly, i have the z2 and an SL3 box with denon sc3900 decks in hybrid mode, I find that there is a huge lag in when i move my platter and when i hear the sound thru the headphone jack. Have you had this issue, and if so, how did you fix it? I am seriously considering rekordbox to go with my z2, which have you had the better experience with and why?? thanks in advance. Sorry, but when you was scratching with serato your scratch sound way better. Plus if you tear a little paper and put it in the circle and fold it down, the album would fix a little better so no drift. Thats a option.
Is this vinyl any more difficult to read than the clear rekord box control vinyls being that its solid white??? Really interested in getting a pair these white ones look dope but i like to play my dvs just like real vinyl and i'm wondering if it harder to cue songs on these i have shitty eyesight also dont want to have to lean in everytime.
Honestly at its current price, it makes more sense to buy their add on controller the XP1, since it's almost the same price and you get a nice piece of hardware AND both software licenses.

Question PDOT, does the record of dvs work for serato Scratch Live?. Because I find that drumming with the pads in Scratch Live more flexible than Serato DJ. In my experience on the Rane Sixty-Two.
