I have a pair of bonded love birds that look just like yours. My male Moe is the green one and his wife Lilly is yellow. I supply them with all kinds of shredding material but Lilly is the real expert. Moe just tries to be useful and help out but he can't shred thin cardboard as efficiently as Lilly does. Lilly would shred the cardboard and put the long pieces under her feathers just like that but usually by the time she would fly them back to the cage a few of them had already fallen out. Your birds are beautiful. I am curious where did you get that grass hut. I am always looking for things for them to shred. Lilly makes the most amazing nests. Sadly I have to be the bad guy and replace the real eggs with fake ones because I don't have the room for more lovebirds. I also have two elderly cats that get along very well with the birds. They are out of the cage everyday and I am always around when they are out. Moe loves to land on the cats back and get a ride around. It is adorable to watch.
