An ambient coffee shop draw sesh for the soul !! I didn't narrate this video because I really love the vibe of the coffee shop sounds, so I'm going to explain how I feel about what I drew down here!:
So overall, I'm very impressed with myself! I'm typically a strict sketch to outline to color type of girl, but I really wanted to push myself and try to let loose a little, and I surprisingly love how it turned out! I'm happy that I pushed my comfort zone with color, and my comfort zone with the process. If I could fix anything, I'd maybe make the girl's chin come out a bit more, but I like her! The shear fact I drew a portrait without sketching first is a big win for me. I love how the flower turned out, and I'm OBSESSED with this simplistic bug friend that I keep drawing. All in all, I'm proud of myself for getting uncomfortable.
Also, to the girl sitting next to me at the cafe, thank you so much for the compliment!! I might have been eavesdropping and heard about the great things you're doing for your blind student and wow!! Thank you for everything, your students must love you 😌Keep making the world a better place, cafe girl, we stan.
