Update 19.07.2024 Thank you very much for the 12k views, the almost 400 likes, and the many positive comments. I never expected to get so many views on the video, and it's increasing day by day. I thought it would max out at 2,000 and that would be it, but every day I read another wonderful comment. Thank you! I think I will try to upload a tutorial on how I lay my tracks in a beautiful curve and how it becomes so complex.
@@Chrisix3 Hi Chrisisx3, I was wondering if you have any professional connection to railways. While watching this video, I saw some 'Flankenschutzweichen' (flank protection switch ?). I know them from other videos where locomotive drivers or other railway personal explained their function. Btw, do you know any games that focus on train dispatchers ? I already know Rail Route, SimRail and StellwerkSim. Kind Regards, Oliver
Regardless of the great complexity, I like the low height of the rail system and thus the perfect integration into the existing landscape, really great. I always wanted to build like this, but the game doesn't make it easy.
Thank you :3 i could show you how my trains work. They turn around at stations, although it also goes out at the front, a platform has several stations where trains from different directions enter and so on. I tried soooo many things in this game to make it beautiful:3
I've seen a lot of really neat things that i will be stealing for sure, like those track ends with pipes and the door frames. Only one thing i would like to point is those extremely long senctions of the network that have no block signals at all. I've personally had issues with those kind of setups, as the trains spent an unnecessare amount of time waiting at the start of those sections, causing delays. Its possible that with such a massive build you have the trains are far apart enough for that to not matter, but in the video there's a couple of trains stopping for that reason. Also i dont understand how half of those intersections work, what an amazing work! Thanks for sharing edit: me/Today i will go to sleep early // also me at 4am:
Thank you very much :3 Yes i know, i need more Blocksignals in some situations, but i don't want to. XD in my opinion is this the charm of my Network. :3 The Trains will stop because another train crosses the road or the train was never able to drive, because its a decorative Train. But Sometimes the Trains will just drive. I hope you will have fun with my trackends. ^-^
@@Chrisix3 Hah, genau.
If you look out your right window, you'll see the beautiful mushroom-covered seastacks of the coast. And to your left, some piles of alien crap emitting fart gas.
I started the game with my friends, now i am alone. I build since 2021 i guess. Dont now. I have many old saves. My first builds was terrible and it looks fantastic when i see me current network :3 and i have sooo many things which i could make better. Its a never ending story x3
I built up the map with beacons and ran railway tracks in different parts of it, and wanted to build a base of the same size as in the video, but when I counted how many real days of work it would take, I stopped playing
I have yet to master this game. Getting to all the milestones requires a lot and I just build a new factory for every single one xD. Also If I produce 70 and use 70 and the machine doesn't have enough waht do I do?
Would love to explore the save file if you have one. I want to know how you connect the main base to the resources at the top of the cliff with the quartz
I can never really get all that into Satisfactory, there just isn't enough combat for me. I prefer factorio where after a few hours my brain starts to fry and I can cool down by shooting bugs for a while. Combat is present in Satisfactory of course but finding it isn't always reliable.
Nur hatte immer was anderes zutun.
@@Chrisix3 Just from what you showed (and without a track schematic), this looks incredibly well done. I can appreciate that the crossovers look properly laid out and the yards/storage tracks branch as they should. 😂
@@Chrisix3 i looked it up and "The console can be accessed by §(paragraph)/` (backtick)/~ (tilde) key. This will open the console command line; press it again to open a larger window (at least one command requires a large window in order to be used properly)".
Satisfactory. But don't ever think you will manage to do what he did without litteraly years of work. If you have a life that you enjoy, if you have loving parents, a caring wife, children you must take care of, don't go down that path, many went, very few came back.
I hope they eventually actually start adding content to this game. I remember originally playing it in 2018 or some shit and it was fun, but then it's been 6 years and they've done what, added trains and some other random shit? It's had 6 years of "development" yet still doesn't compete with Factorio on content on release.
